there is a note accompanying the wayward Pokéball; which had only arrived at the Ranger Outpost in Verdanturf several weeks after the holiday season had ended. The note is postdated to December 27, 2023:

‘Hello Miss Elinor! Okay. I’ll admit.

I had to ask my friend for the closest address where I could send you this gift, and he said to just drop it off at the Verdanturf Ranger Outpost so I hope you find this!

I know it’s not an Onix like what he said that you like collecting, however how can a valiant vanguard fight without a sword and a shield?
