THE ULTRA CRATER IS A LARGE EXPANSE UNDERNEATH A YELLOW SKY. In between thick, almost impassable jungles, craters filled with green fields and alien plants lay. What appears to be metal pipe-like roots grow out the rock of crater walls. Geysers dot this alien landscape, occasionally expelling shrieking steam.[break][break]

The world is frequented by earthquakes, causing odd red monoliths of rock to quake throughout the realm. Oddly, the Ultra Thicket possesses very fertile soil. In the distance, a large mountainous expanse can be seen, though the range does not seem too high.

Elinor clung tightly to the Celesteela owned by Alexei Ivanov as they flew over the canopy trees that made up the jungle of the ULTRA CRATER.

The moon hung high in the sky once again. But she had no intention of going up there again, remembering all too well what happened last time.

But if she thought they would avoid danger then she would be sorely disappointed. For as they flew, and without prior warning strong gales emerged from the ground in a veritable CELESTIAL STORM.

Here we go again.

What better way to go back into the rip in reality that was smack in the middle of Fortree’s downtown, than on the back of a certain ‘moon princess’?

He was… fucking floored when he realized just how fast someone like Kaguya had suddenly grown up to. The last time he saw her, she was but a wee little baby he was able to carry in his arm, one-handed!

(This was, of course, since gravity was all fucked up on the ‘moon’ where he’d found her.)

Anyway!

“Hold on tight!” he hollered over the blowing wind, all things considered as the Celesteela soared above the jungle, hot exhaust from far below seemingly casting a heat haze over the area they’d covered so far.

“What are you looking for out here, this time?!” he exclaimed a few moments afterward as he pulled down his aviator goggles; the better to keep the dangerously hot ‘exhaust’ from out of his face before they flew right into a—

Are you kidding me.

“A Celesteela for myself.” She admitted with a big smirk on her lips as she continued clinging to their mount.

But then any further conversation was interrupted by a huge and powerful Celestial storm hit them. Storm gales filled with emerald steel, metal and bamboo torn from the ground tried to knock their mount out and add them to the growing debris. Elinor would trust Alexei with navigating this, all she could do was cling and look.

And through sheer luck her eyes caught the shine of something green in the middle. And for a moment she considered the possibility that something was creating this storm.

“Aim for the Center. I think something is creating this storm!” She called out, praying that Alexei could hear her through the wind.

The moment she mentioned what she wanted, his eyebrows went up—thankfully he had his goggles on as they flew straight into the storm proper.

“Then why didn’t you get one like Kaguya while were out at the moon?!” he exclaimed over the howling wind as, against his better judgement, he nudged Kaguya to fly straight into the middle of the howling—and extremely painful if they got hit—storm that was swirling over the jungle far, far below.

He could see bamboo stalks flying; and other glittering, glinting pieces of what appeared to be metal—

“Are you fucking nuts?! We’ll get killed!” he yelled over the grit and debris that swirled all around them; meanwhile the Celesteela would then sudden fucking accelerate towards the middle of the storm using her Autotomize technique!

“Wha—WHOA!” he yelped a few moments afterward as he ducked down, bracing himself as they flew into the worst of the storm made of so many flying things that were absolutely dangerous if a single one nicked or cut him open…

They flew into the storm much to the protests of Alexei. Debri flew around them threatening to hit them even as their mount sped up. But with the increased speed came more danger. A huge chunk of something steel looking flew toward them. Luckily Alexei wasn’t the only one who had the idea of using their Ultra Beast.

Up until now her Kartana had kept itself hidden in a pocket. But sensing danger approaching it flew out, rushing ahead of the Celesteela just in time to cut the flying debris into pieces and scatter it before it made their lives a pain.

But that was not the end of it, as it decided to take point and lead the Celesteela through the storm and debris safely. Though the Celesteela made it no easy feat at this speed.

“Your tiny little murder paper sure is coming in handy,” he yelled over the howling storm that they were accelerating through; now that the Kartana was taking the lead, Kaguya would follow.

Closer and closer they would get to the eye of the storm itself; before one of her arms would swing out in some form of Dragon Hammer to smash what appeared to be a crystal—a Grassium-Z from the looks of it—which exploded upon impact with her gigantic arm.

And then the storm would promptly die down the moment the ‘power source’ (was it?) had been broken beyond repair.

“Geez… that was all it would fucking take for this debris to clear out?!” he exclaimed once the wind had calmed down; and the Kartana was leading them somewhere… somewhere… down towards the ground?

“Uh… where’s your little origami assassin taking us?” he asked her as the gigantic ‘moon princess’ then made to gently come down for a landing…

They reached the eye of the storm and dealt with its source.

“Seems like it.” Elinor muttered as baffled as the Gym Leader.

And while they were busy being confused Kartana took a moment to survey the area. It remembered this place all too well. This was a perfect opportunity, or so it thought. It knew it was being selfish, it knew it may not exactly be a kind thing to do. But it eagerly waved it’s origami-hand toward the entrance as it began to lead its trainer and her friends toward a cave opening in the ground.

“I guess it wants to show us something?” Elinor questioned. She had yet to get the hang on its language as one would a normal Pokemon.

Though as they went further down the Cave tunnel lead by the Kartana they rather quickly saw huge vines stretching from up top to down low blocking their path.
