The radar spikes, overwhelmed by such a powerful force of INFINITY ENERGY. But what gets Mint up and grinning is the note of PRIMAL mixed into it. He knows its Kyogre before he gets the call. If it were Groudon, the announcement would've been an explosion before massive energy ratings. And Rayquaza had not deemed to drop down to handle Kyogre just yet.

He gets in gear, TELEPORTing to the outskirts of Sootopolis to meet with his Underboss. A Beheeyem drops him into the sand next to Theo before he summoned his Altaria, preparing for take off. "Sir, is Kyogre looking to pick a fight with the gated city?" he asked, more excited than nervous to face off with a god as rain poured in sheets.

"I thought Kyogre had a connection to the Cave of Origin." he said back as he heard thee roar of the whale itself, shaking thee waters in front of them. Kyogre, wrapped up and warped by the BLUE ORB from Walsh, and it's own primal instincts surfaces and summons an angry ORIGIN PULSE aiming it forward Sootopolis' intimidating city walls.

The waves churn and grow in size as Kyogre cut through thee water, dogged in it's pursuit. It seemed to be fighting an imaginary opponent. For now, Theo and Mint were just meant to lead it away. Mint sends out another pokemon, his Vaporeon who quickly dives under thee water before resurfacing closer to the behemoth, leading thee charge. "Calici start with it's tail!" he shouted. Maybe it would make the beast turn around.

To help make his trainer understood, Gnocci the Beheeyem blasts a SIGNAL BEAM at one of Kyogre's tail fins.

"I kind of want to ask declan walsh what he put into the weird piece! How's it intefering this much wiht Kyogre's mental?" He gives a nod and a thumbs up to his Underboss as Calici barks and blows an AURORA BEAM at the Kyogre before it's slammed under the waves by a powerful and very sudden AQUA TAIL.

As the Vaporeon attempted to resurface Theo's Gyarados' HURRICANE hits, engulfing the behemoth's snout with whipping winds, debris, and water. Kyogre screams in irritation trying to find the source only for another insistent SIGNAL BEAM is blasted into it's eyes. That secures it's attention somewhat and the whale began to turn, at least partially, away from the city.

Mint tried to wrap his head around what exactly was the power of Dakrai anyway. The pair follow Kyogre with ease, helping lead it away from Rocket turf and out back into the ocean. Though it still screams and splashes around with AQUA TAIL, thrashing around dangerously. His Vaporeon is smacked back under the waves and Gnocci moves into its view to take over while Calici recovered. The psychic type drops another SIGNAL BEAM, trying to further confuse the behemoth.

"No! I've got a couple stuck on it right now but they fall off with how aggressive it moves!" Mint explained. "I gotta find it again once the signal drops because they kept getting lost." he said. "But we've built a bit of a pattern on it, so can guess where it might be next."

"Have we tried the Boss making another one?" Mint asked as he pulled out the trackers from his pockets, ready to try Theo's suggestion. "We'll see how long it lasts in the digestive tract." he said excitedly to run that weird experiment.

Calici managed to surface, moving to assist Theo's Gyarados while Mint whistled to get his physic type to come back. "Gnocchi, next time it roars can you slip this in and out?" he asked. The Beheeyem' eye widened as Mint grinned at his pokemon. "Your TELEPORT will do just fine." he assured it before it took the tracker after Mint activated it and moved to give chase to the retreating Kyogre who was busy thrashing its way back to open sea.

Calici blast and AURORA BEAM, trying to cut it off from Sootopolis and egg it on forward despite how rough the seas were. Kyogre roars again, hateful and irritated by the water bugs around it. Gnocchi disappeared, landing and shaking inside the beast's mouth as its heavy jaws shut tight, bringing in seawater and any water pokemon miserable enough to get caught in its mouth. The psychic type slaps the tracker on the roof of the mouth, before TELEPORTING back out next to Mint, still shaking but mission accomplished. "Good work, I'll make sure to treat you to double whatever you like." Mint smoothed as the rattled pokemon hovered near him, still trying to follow its safety protocols.
