The cute half of the self proclaimed "Dirty Pair", Mahina found herself cast adrift as a child with no memory of who she was or where she came from, washing up on the shores of Alola. [break][break]

By some miracle, she was found by a mischievous child named Leilani and welcomed to the region in full once it was clear that she had no real caretaker to look after her. The two bonded almost immediately and were inseparable from one another. She spent most of her childhood in the water, loving the hair and water beneath her waves.[break][break]

Mahina only fueled her friends' mischief in the making, as they two made a name for themselves across the region as petty thieves for any luxury they could get their hands on. [break][break]

They left Alola for Hoenn after wanting to see the world outside the islands, though Mahina does wonder if she'll ever find out who her parents are.[break][break]
