Uxie tactically kept quiet, trying to ignore its sibling's chirping, else risk alerting Eris to Hideo's unfortunate encounter. It even raised an illusory finger to its illusory mouth, a quick chirp telling Mesprit to focus on keeping the kids safe from whatever threats might beset them.

Eris did have a point there. "Guess we should check to make sure Littleroot doesn't get another big hole in the ground." The one under the theater was already something they had to keep a close eye on.
Well, other people kept a close eye on it.
Hideo keeping an eye on it wouldn't help much.
