He mulls over the thought.

[break][break] It is foggy, days later, of everything that had happened. He can still remember the flicker of heat against his skin as he'd churned away at her torrent of flames.

Some days, the memories are just a blur, just as any other dream he's ever felt. Other days, they come in sharp and in full-focus — the burst of hurt in his chest when he thinks about the way that Rocket discarded him so easily, the way that mint frost and THEO BECKETT had no problem in replacing him.
