Ah the Battle Hut! Nestled in a seedy part of Slateport, but this one was at least legal. Ace figured there were probably a good amount of illegal ones abound, but that was for the League to root out. Assuming they had the personal. The five foot four blonde was no stranger to this particular one. Actually, he was a very familiar face to most of the crowd. Once word hit that he had registered for a match, he could hear the buzz. Betting most likely...on him winning. He had an extremely solid record here, with some opponents giving him trouble. But he still won most of his matches. Once his ticket came up, he saw who his opponent was. Some no name newbie. Well, hopefully he'll be a challenge. Guy was another teenager, a literal unknown.

Once it was their turn, Ace got up and walked to his side of the entry way, leading him out into the battle arena. As the announcer introduced him as a veteran of the arena with the best record there for the night, his opponent was then introduced. With a polite and respectful bow, he took out a pokeball, and threw it. Aegislash was released. Poor thing had been neglected in the battle part, so Ace decided to bring it out for once. Well trained, but not well tested...hopefully this Zachary guy will provide the challenge necessary in this 2v2 match.

Slateport City was indeed an unfamiliar place for Zachary. Let alone the battle hut. It was a nice way to brush up on battle tactics. He had only return from the wilds, exploring places like Meteor Falls and Mt Pyre in the interest to find mysterious and interesting psychic Pokemon. He had come back having a good few in his pocket now. Some tough ones, others sweet friends and wise ones. They were all unique in thier own special way-- which to Zachary made them invaluable allies. And now out of some impulse-- he was there. The arena, to test his skills.
[break][break] As a legitimate battle arena, a place to properly fight ethically without any kind of illegal dealings-- this was as approved by the league as any gym. But he didn't think he would be asked to attend and start. This was in fact his first battle in an arena and it made him nervous. As they walked to the waiting room-- Dizzy, his Delphox gave enoucraging barks, trying to psyche Zachary up. To which, Zachary nodded and gave his furry friend a loving scratching behind his warm ears. With the announcement, Zachary soon entered the arena.[break][break] Zachary entered the arena, and along with the other trainers there, there were some applause from some of the audience. He felt the wave of nerves come back but he tried to focus as he met the stranger. He smiled and raised a hand with his Delphox by his side. Hey there. Nice to meet you. The name's Zachary," he greeted in a friendly manner. He clearly may of been a 'no name' , but the fact he had a Delphox of all things at his side suggested he had some experience raising it. No doubt it would be an interesting challenge for the blonde trainer who he met. He saw the Aegisslash of all things, suggesting he had ghost pokemon with him. He considered who would be the best match up. The fact was, Zachary never done a 2v2 match before. It required cooperation and teamwork. He couldn't just throw any pokemon into the battle. Especially Abra, who was as toxic as the day was long. But Dizzy was a clear choice here. While the opponent was a ghost type, Zachary felt confident enough to give Dizzy the spotlight this turn. [break][break] "Ready to make a blaze of victory, Dizzy?" Zachary said to his fox companion. The fox's face lit up with excitement as he straightened up. The little fox took out its stick-- and it ignited with fire. "I choose Dizzy, my Delphox! Time to show them what you're made of!" [break][break] Dizzy hopped into the battlefield, and gave a stern glare at the Aegislash at the other end. While normally a bad match up as a ghost type, Dizzy's fire made things end on even footing-- depending who was the better attacker. He was ready to go the moment the battle would begin... "Aaron Toral." Was the bland, stoic, and monotone reply to the energetic guy's introduction. Ace didn't bother with anything else. He just wasn't that type of guy. What was interesting was the selection of the Delphox that was by the guy's side. Both had advantages over each other, same with his next Pokemon, Dhelmise. While most Aegislash strategies were predictable, they were exceptionally powerful, even if you know what's coming. Delphox were strong special attackers, generally speaking...mirrioring the ancient notion of a witch or sorcorer. The announcer did their job, declaring Delphox vs Aegislash, Battle Begin! Of course in the most dramatic way possible.

With the battle beginning, Ace put on the first move. "Night Slash, pattern B." Immediately shifting to attack stance, the sword and shield Pokemon zoomed around the battlefield in a zigzag pattern, before swiftly darting up and stabbing down with dark blades. He hoped to give the Delphox a tough target to hit on the opening strike, but he'll see how tricky this guy made his little witch out to be.

His opponent, Arron Toral, wasn't the friendliest of people. Even if this was a battle, there was such a thing as competitive courtesy. What happened to sportsmanship? Zachary frowned at the coldness-- but it didn't stop him. Perhaps he was focused, or just not easy with strangers. Still, he turned his focus to Dizzy as the battle start. The disembodied sword and shield began to dart-- threatening a "Night Slash" as a strong opener. Zachary was no fool. He knew that such Dark-type moves were critical against psychic types like a Delphox or many of the Pokemon he favored. But that wasn't going to stop him. [break][break] Dizzy's eyes followed the zig-zagging sword, knowing how dangerous it was. Little barks came as it changed direction, growing closer. However, Zachary too was aware of his pokemon's state of awareness-- and acted. "Alright, let's get this game started! Dizzy-- Magic Room!!" he shouted to his companion. [break][break] Dizzy's eyes then cast an eeriee glow as he knelt down and placed his paw on the ground. A magic circle appeared below him-- and pulsed out a psychic aura around the arena! What was once an aura turned into a physical glow as light took shape-- creating large blocks that appeared out of the light, dropping or forming on the ground and mid air. The area enveloped took the entire battle area up to where Arron was. Zachary observed as the terrain changed under Dizzy's control, allowing him to use the mysterious boxes as both cover and vantage points. Dizzy hopped and hid among the boxes-- attempting to evade the Aegislash of all things. More so, with all the box, its movement would be limited and make it harder for a direct attack by the sword pokemon. [break][break] With Dizzy safe for the moment, the fox hid behind one of the boxes briefly. "Next up, Dizzy-- Future Sight!" [break][break] The Delphox soon raised its burning twig. As he held the blade before his face, he gazed into the growing fire and his eyes glowed. Prismatic, multi-colored balls of psychic power formed around Dizzy. With a small shout, the balls shot forward into the air above-- and suddenly each one blinked out of existance, as if they did nothing at all. [break][break] They were sent into the future, a delayed attack. While not the best move to use against the ghostly sword-- it was one of the strongest Psychic attacks and had its use in strategy. Zachary felt confident to use its power and use it early to get a good hit in-- when the enemy least expect it. [break][break] Zachary now had to be sure he was looking out for Dizzy, not just in declaring orders-- but looking around the now cluttered terrain. While Dizzy could use the boxes to jump or climb or hide behind-- so could the enemy, so they both had to be sharp[break][break] No pun intended.

The Delphox used Magic Room...a very odd attack to say the least. But this one used it creatively. As the fire type used one to jump away, Aegislash hacked the one it just jumped off of in half. It continued to jump higher as the blade sliced the surrounding blocks to pieces, though there still wasn't the wide open space that they liked. No matter..."Iron Head the blocks. Send them to it. Make them crash into each other." Even as the witchy fox used Future Sight, Ace knew it was only preparing and foreseeing an attack. It wasn't going to hit...yet. Timing would be key on dealing with that one. Until then, the pommel and grip of the sword glowed silvery white, and started to head butt the blocks all towards the Delphox and the platform it was on in the hopes of putting all of them in one spot.

The first group was fast and easy enough to send flying without interruption. But the second group would allow Delphox to counter or attack. Aaron didn't like wasting King's Shield, and even on his other pokemon, had become adept at using offensive moves defensively. It was just a matter of how the Delphox, and Zachary, was going to strike when the opportunity presented itself.

This was a challenge. Zachary used Dizzy to change the terrain, but this pokemon was quickly adapting to it to his trainer's instructions. This was a natural risk to this strategy. Both allies and enemies could use the terrain to their advantage if they were clever enough. Of course, this was what made it more exciting. "Glad to see you like the funhouse. Just you wait," Zachary said confidently, finding the foe's strategy interesting. He was now trying to move the blocks using Iron Head to make them crash or corner Dizzy. But Zachary's Delphox was not called 'wily' for nothing. [break][break] "Dizzy-- Psychic! Shuffle the boxes!" Zachary commanded. [break][break] Being friends for so long, best friends-- Dizzy and Zachary thought alike. To the point Zachary hoped, Dizzy knew what he was thinking. Either by coincidence or just thinking alike, Dizzy knew what to do as his eyes glowed again. The odd psychic glow that would of shown on Aegislash-- instead took hold on the blocks surrounding the area. Under Dizzy's psychic control, he began to move the blocks around in swishing, random patterns-- the ones that Aegislash had not head-butted. [break][break] The blocks that Aegislash had sent flying would crash into others, while others in the air and elsewhere, began to move left and right--blurring the image of dizzy as he stood there-- [break][break] And Dizzy vanished from view under their shuffle, like a marble in a game of 'cups'. [break][break] The shuffling and moving of the boxes now would confuse most-- now having to find Dizzy, along with the constant moving of the boxes under his control. [break][break] After a few seconds, Dizzy appeared on the right side (Aegislash's left) side of the arena, slidding out from behind one of the shifting boxes. [break][break] "Now-- Mystical Fire!!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] The tip of Dizzy's twig burned with multi-colored fire. He quickly drew a circle of fire with it, which hovered in the air. With a howl from the fox, he pointed his stick-- and a swirl of fire like a twister shot out towards Aegislash. As it snaked towards Aegislash, it would risk dealing big damage and lowering its capabilities if it hit! . [break][break] As they battled, more people took an interest in the creative battle. The unique creation and manipulation of the terrain-based move caught many eyes, as did the challenging fight between the two Pokemon. All the while, Zachary held a confident smile on his face, feeling excited by what might happen next. [break][break]

Aaron didn't respond to the blue haired teen. Instead, he showed his worth by using Psychic to manipulate the boxes. And quickly too. It was already too confusing to really see...but he knew what the opponent would likely do. A point blank super effective strike. If only because that is what Ace would do. "Focus on the closest ones. He's coming." The blocks swished and struck down the ones that they had sent over, adding to the size of them. But they just waited for the Delphox to make their move. That would be the opportune moment. Then it happened. "Left, Sacred Sword." Blade glowing a brownish orange, but keeping the length the same, the ghost slices upward in that direction, making contact with the flames, but also diverting them to either side.

While it did do some damage, the energy from the Sacred Sword attack mostly protected the haunted blade. And the Delphox was in striking range! "Slash." Aegislash sliced downward at the fox, blade not glowing anymore, and faster than Night Slash. It'd been a while since someone got the first hit on him. And Zachary had been clever as well. But can he keep up with the pace? Ace knew the Future Sight should be coming soon as well...King's Guard was ready for it.

The battle got real as Aegislash took action. While the shuffling of the boxes and using them to swap places like a magic trick ws clever-- Arron was just as clever too. This was Zachary's first real battle with a competitive trainer. Amusement faded a bit from Zachary's face as he saw the move come-- seeing that the sword used a super strong move-- Sacred Sword to clash with the Mystical Fire. It was an impressive counter-- especially considering a fighting move like that wouldn't really hurt Dizzy as a psychic type. [break][break] However, the incoming slash was a problem as Dizzy couldn't get out of reach even with the boxes.[break][break] "Look out!" Zachary cried-- to which Dizzy braced himself. Dizzy tried to back up-- and the sword slash coming in range. The slash and shine of metal was terrifying as it cut into Dizzy's form, slashing some fur out of there-- and worst of all, trimming the bottom of Dizzy's stick. Dizzy gritted against the pain of the slash, feeling it hit him and hit hard. [break][break] Dizzy's eyes soon became angry slits as his fire burned brighter now. [break][break]BLAZE now activated. Partly due to the damage, partly-- no one messes with a Delphox's divining stick! Dizzy let out a loud growl, his fury showing now as a burning aura. [break][break] "Dizzy-- Flamethrower now!!" No more than a second after the blow and the flare of fury-- Dizzy let out a howl. The howl was answered by a sudden jet of fire from his mouth. The stream of intense fire struck with no more than a few feet away from Agislash-- being a powerful burst if nothing was done. [break][break] As the stream of fire would shoot right at Aegislash-- Zachary smirked as he remembered his strategy. [break][break] "You can run but you can't hide. Especially from one thing," Zachary said as he knew the time had come. "Time." He snapped his fingers. [break][break] Right on cue, balls of psychic energy appeared overhead of the Aegislash. Dizzy's FUTURE SIGHT finally kicked in. While the Flamethrower was blowing against the ghostly sword-- the attack was overhead and came flying down like meteors toward it. [break][break] THe eruption of the psyconic barrage and flamethrower was going to be hard to defend, at least from two different directions! [break][break] Of course, Zachary didn't know about King's Shield just yet. [break][break]

The Slash hit the Delphox, giving him a bit of a shave and decreasing the size of his wand. But it wasn't over yet. Ace could see the burning in the fox's eyes...Blaze. That could complicate things. One wrong move, and it could very well be a one hit knock out. And Dhelmise didn't have a defensive move like Aegislash. Well, at least not a dedicated one. The ghosty sword backed off, just as the Delphox unleashed a devastating Flamethrower. And from above, came the Future Sight, with Zachy boy giving some commentary. A make shift pincer strike. Honestly, the guy could have done better, then at least one of the strikes might actually hit.

"Get low, and King's Shield." The sword sheathing into the shield with an aerial hop and angled slightly upwards allowed the haunted sword and buckler to protect against both attacks at once. A true pincer would have been from opposite directions at once, instead of a right angle. Still, the explosion made him slightly nervious about any damage done. If only because he didn't know if Zach had a second Pokemon in mind for this...and this could make for an easy revenge knock out. "Night Slash. Pattern C." While A was a standard strike in close range, and B was closing in and doing a quick stab, C was more akin to most Sacred Swords. A black blade of dark energy swung horizontally from the smoke. When said smoke cleared to show the ghosty armament, it looked barely scuffed up. One or maybe the combination of both attacks overwhelmed King's Shield somewhat...not bad...not bad at all. More than just tricks, but also had some raw power too...

Future Sight was indeed a powerful hit and the smoke made it hard to see-- but Zachary wasn't about to accept things as they were. He had to press things on. The call of "King's Shield" made Zachary nervous as the two attacks hit. He had hoped while if any defensive measure was taken-- an attack from up front and above would have done something. He was certain the attack did some damage-- but still, he couldn't risk it. "Dizzy, prepare Future Sight again!" Zachary said, the second Future Sight ended. With Dizzy stopping his Flamethrower, he took up his stick and focused-- projecting another Future Sight attack for the future. However, it was then that the smoke parted-- with the shout from the enemy trainer to use Night Slash. [break][break] This was bad as Aegislash didn't seem to have much in damage after taking on two powerful hits like that. Dizzy's eyes widened as he finished his future sight, sending the balls of energy vanishing from view. [break][break]"Dizzy! Flamethrower one more time!" Zachary said in desperation, the 'heat' now getting to him. The confidence was rattled to now know just how strong this Aegislash was. Dizzy, on his last reserves of strength, released another intense Flamethrower-- trying to deter the sword Pokemon and get in another hit-- perhaps removing the threat. [break][break]

It was a good move to go ahead and prepare another strike to continue to support a Pokemon that was almost done. Once again the balls of psychic energy disappeared. But it seemed Zachary forgot what happened with Sacred Sword. The dark type attack sliced through the Flamethrower and took down the Delphox. That was one down. While Aegislash was still going strong, he still suffered some damage. And Ace would have to keep an eye out for that Future Sight again. Either way, the crowd was pumped from both Pokemon's display. He figured some expected with to be an easy win for the blonde. But Zach was showing that he was going to make Ace earn his victory. And really, that was all that mattered.

What pissed him off was a nearby and overly loud audience member mocked the newcomer from behind him. At that, Ace turned towards the guy with anger filled amber eyes. "And I dare you to come down here and do better. Zachary made me earn this first rounds win with his combination of creativity, raw power, and tactics. If you can do better against me, then come on down and do better. Otherwise, sit down, shut up, and keep whatever fantasies in your head you fuckin loser." Undeserved arrogance gets to Aaron like no other. With everyone's attention on the audience member, the watcher backed down pretty quickly, making the teenager snort. Turning back towards Zachary, Ace addressed the lad directly. "Apologies. Most audience members keep their opinions to themselves or nowhere near as loudly. Do continue." Even with his projection, his voice stayed monotone. But the compliment was clear...this guy was a challenge. And Ace wanted to see more.

While Future Sight was indeed sent off, Dizzy was soon defeated by the Night Slash move-- striking down the last of his strength to fight. Dizzy went tumbling backward, his stick knocked out of his hands. "Dizzy!" Zachary cried. With him now unable to battle, Zachary rushed in and went to his fox companion. He knelt down to check on him, seeing him wincing from the injuries. "You okay, buddy?" [break][break] "Mrrr-urk..." Dizzy grumbled but sat up thanks to Zachary's help. [break][break] "You want to go rest in your Pokeball?" he asked, but Dizzy shook his head. While out of the fight, his best friend wanted to stay by his side. Zachary gave the fox a reassuring pat, thanking him for his hard work. The battle was done, but not the war. [break][break] All the while the jeers from the audience were there, but Zachary paid it little to no mind-- his attention more focused on Dizzy. He didn't even notice it till the end, and Arron spoke up on his behalf. [break][break] Arron, Zachary presumed was a cold, tactical person at first impression. He seemed more interested in fighting, and less in the pokemon. He didn't know till that moment, the guy seemed to respect him and get mad at people who were picking on him now. Zachary was no stranger to bullies or mean people in his youth-- but it was almost reassuring as he got Dizzy behind the arena lines. [break][break] He then turned to Arron, seeing that expression but his words expressing compassion. Zachary paused a moment and then nodded to him. "Thank you, Arron," he replied. [break][break] Dizzy now sat down next to Zachary and would observe the fight from the sidelines. The fox looked up to Zachary, wondering who he would use next. The battle was paused as Zachary decided on his next Pokemon. He only had one more choice he could make and he had to make it count. Aegislash had taken on significant damage, and probably wouldn't take much more to end the battle for that one. He still had one more Pokemon left too. If he was going to win, he had to pick one who was both offensive and defensive. A wild card. [break][break] Zachary smiled, knowing just the one. His ace in the hole. [break][break] He soon took out his Pokeball-- marked by the odd symbol of "0" on the front. Based on the arcana Zachary had loved. "LIke the number zero-- you possess infinite potential! I choose The Fool!" Zachary said as he stepped up, his small incantation like a wish of luck. "Get ready, 'cause I got a surprise you won't forget! Show em what you got-- HAPPY!!" Zachary shouted and tossed his ball up into the air. [break][break]
[break][break] Light poured out and from the great flash, it gathered and took the form of Zachary's Mime Jr-- Happy. "Mi-mi-MIME!!" he cheered happily. [break][break] If Arron thought the jeers before were bad-- it became just venomous laughter now as the audience got a look at Zachary's 'supposed' wild card of a Pokemon. His confidence choice which he felt would win him the battle, was a tiny little Mime Jr who had not evolved. After a power-hitter like Delphox, Mime Jr. would be the last thing anyone would suspect. [break][break] "You kidding? What you want Aegislash to laugh to death?!" one person shouted. [break][break] "This trainer really is one big joke! AHAHA!!" [break][break] Zachary silently endured the hazing-- and Happy didn't even acknowledge it. Probably due to Soundproof -- maybe. Happy still had a smile on his face as he stood there. [break][break] "Don't be fooled. Happy has never let me down and I don't see him starting now!" Zachary said, believing in his little friend. "Alright, Happy, time to show em what you're made of!" [break][break] However-- Happy stopped and turned to Zachary with a raised hand. The little clown shook his head and gestured to Zachary, wanting something before he started. Zachary paused as Happy gestured to him. "Huh, Happy what's wrong? Don't you want to battle?" Zachary asked. Happy nodded but still gestured to Zachary's pocket-- where he kept his Pokegear. And then, Zachary understood. "Oh no... Happy, right now? There is a battle here," Zachary sighed. [break][break] Happy's only response was a cheerful cry and big, watery black eyes, asking to say 'pleeeeeaaaasssseee... [break][break] Zachary sighed. "Alright... Time out a minute," [break][break] Whoever was moderating the battle paused as Zachary knelt down and rummaged through his backpack. He soon took out a small mini speaker and turned it on, synced to his Pokegear via ro-tooth. He soon set it up and hit 'Play'. [break][break]
[break][break] Baby-baby-baby-baby--yeeaahh![break][break] The moment the energetic, odd-beat music kicked in, Happy let out a happy cheer. The little mime LOVED music and dancing, even in a fight. Battle soundtrack or something like that. Either way, it put Happy into a great mood and benefited his movements. Happy began to bob and move to the pop music, ready to go. If haters were going to hate, he was going to 'shake it off'. [break][break] "IF it wasn't clear... Happy is a bit.. unique," Zachary explained. There was a good chance even Arron may have found this development a bit... offputting. [break][break] Dizzy on the sidelines frowned and shook his head in silent judgment. [break][break]

The hit was good, and Zachary took care of his Delphox, even honoring the creature's wishes to see the rest of the battle. While his sharp rebuttle did lower most of the audience members' jeers, it didn't completely silence them. The only real way to do that was an illegal way. Pity...some "accidents" could sometimes need to happen to such idiotic people. Though through hindsight, Aaron would figure his blank and monotone displays often leads to the perception that he doesn't struggle. Zachary was appreciative of the lad for sticking up for him. With simple nod, he awaited the boy's next choice. After some consideration, the blue haired teen sent out his next Pokemon. A...Mime Jr.

While the jeers went overboard, and Aaron did blink a couple times...there had to be a reason for it. It wasn't until Zach attached a music player to the Pokemon that actually made him raise both eyebrows. Even a weak Pokemon can whittle down stronger ones if they were good at dodging. Add in a dance and a tune..."Watch it, Aegislash! It's going to be tough as hell to hit! Barrages may be your only way for a possibility to hit! Attack patterns C will have the highest chance of success!" His voice wavered ever so slightly, but it was noticable enough to silence the audience. "Never underestimate even pre-evolved Pokemon. Many a trainer should have taught everyone here that..." With a leveled gaze, and his own foot tapping to the rythme of the baller music, the ref called round 2 begin!

"Iron Head." He started off with a super effective attack. The hilt of the haunted blade and shield glowed silvery white as it zoomed straight ahead to strike. However...when, or if, the little guy dodge, Zach would notice that the Aegislash swiftly pivoted back towards the Mime Jr. via using its shield to dig into the artificial dirt. It made Aegislash much more nimble and less susceptible to counter attacks, but who knows what kinds of tricks this little guy had.

They had no clue what Happy was capable of. Unlike most, Happy didn't evolve by choice and circumstance-- but no matter what their form, if trained properly they were a force to recon with. Zachary suspected Arron knew that, but the audience-- where they in for a surprise. As they took their marks, and Happy jiggled to the music, the referee signaled them to begin. [break][break] Arron began an aggressive attack-- having the Aegislash come at them fast and hard. Iron Head was trouble if it made a direct hit-- but Zachary and Happy knew better. Happy was not your typical offensive Pokemon. Both him and Zachary trained him to be far more versatile than Arron could anticipate. As the incoming attack came, Happy gave a 'happy cheer'. "Happy- REFLECT!!" Zachary shouted. [break][break] Right as Aegislash started his charge, Happy gave a twirl to the music-- and erected its arms forward towards the sword. A flash of light went off-- followed by a glass-like sheen of energy! A powerful wall appeared on Happy's side of the battlefield and the crazy Magic Room as it was on its last legs. Happy didn't even flinch as the wall took the assault, the defense of it being incredible. Happy continued to bob and dance to the music from behind his magical wall. Even if the wall bent, it wouldn't break easy.[break][break] Happy was originally skilled at defensive tactics and odd strategy-- to which Zachary was clever with as well. And now, it was time for the 'coup de grâce'. [break][break] "Do it, Happy! ENCORE!" Zachary shouted, seizing the moment. [break][break] From behind the wall, Happy gave more dancing moves and spins to the music. As the beat intensified, Happy raised glowing little hands and clapped aloud, the sound and motion 'motivating' or perhaps more like... egging Aegislash more. [break][break] It didn't look like much, being a simple move that made the opponent act in a certain way-- but that would synch it. He smirked, knowing that with Reflect and Encore, he could predict what would happen. [break][break]

NOTES

Magic Room-- 5/5 .[break]
Future Sight 2/3.[break]
Happy uses Reflect-- erecting barrier and sharply raising defense to protect Happy.[break]
From behind his defensive wall, Happy uses Encore-- either encouraging or provoking the Pokemon to use Iron Head again on a loop.[break]

And there was the defensive move, one of two that was so famously used by the Mime line. A very loud, gong like noise resounded throughout the stadium. But it didn't break or shatter. But then came the trap. Encore?! The Future Sight! With no way to defend, the combination of that and any attack from the Mime Jr. was sure to finish off Aegislash. Infuriating...but very clever. So after bashing his head against the wall a few times...the ghost went over it and tried to slam downward with the shining head of shinyness. Sometimes a wall can be too strong to break. So you have to go around it. Aaron half wondered if the little guy will then dodge or just put up another barrier. Will the little guy trap himself in?

Either way, the little guy was already showing the audience up. There's be few defenses that Ace and his Pokemon couldn't break, double true for such a strong attacker as Aegislash. The Reflect bent, but never cracked. But it was also a static object. He thought anyways...tricksters are often...unpredictable.
