"The truth will never die. But ideals are far more fragile, easier to shatter." Her fingers curl around the stone, gently brushing over the etches and curves it possesses. "If the truth is that our Hoenn must die because we cause the end of all other worlds, would you still continue to fight?"

Hope lingers on the fringes of a girl torn by war, and faction conflict. She clings to it with far more trust than he himself even could. It was endearing in a way he couldn't describe, and in the same vein, entirely disappointing.

He watches the conclusion of a fight fated by the Creation itself with quiet regality. He owed these two that much.

"What choice do I have?"

He wouldn't take death lying down, but.. Was their end a fated one? Or was there still time?
