The terrain was littered with empty Pokeballs, scraps of clothing, and glimmering Tera Crystals that winked with infinite possibility. A glimmering sea of stars that held a brighter future for Hoenn, if one reached for it. A bright future hidden in this cave network that spread under Hoenn.

A beautiful paradise, forever marred by blood.

Thud. It lumbered forward, looking down.

The Raging Bolt towered over Marya, its long neck corded with muscle. A prehistoric predator that stood at the pinnacle of Area Zero's food chain. A solemn mockery of the Raikou that had died in Johto years earlier.

Its cousin, Walking Wake, had waged a war against several of the League's strongest trainers during a secret meeting. These beasts were not to be underestimated.

"GYOOOOOOOOAK!"

It let out a ferocious roar that showed the scrap of uniform between its teeth, belonging to some poor trainer that came before. The whirring sound of electricity erupted as the beast lunged forward, its neck craning as it prepared to use Thunderclap on the young trainer.

Area Zero was not for the faint of heart.
