uncle and auntie fight every day, about you. one day it's about not having the money, second day it's about not having the time, third day it's about the child support and so forth. one of them says you're the last thing of their brother and the other says they should be focusing on the family they have now, or the baby that they're expecting. you learn - very early on - there is no place for you here. fists fly and screams are exchanged. the crowd you surround yourself with isn't pleasant, but they give you the money to survive. you learn a thing or two, and you're convicted a few times. early adulthood is filled with run-ins with the police. one day it's intimidating, another is harassment, the next will be assault. violence gives you results, but it takes your time away. you learn that day, violence isn't as efficient as you thought it was.[break][break]

they rid of you the moment you're old enough. you have your GED, you can get a job. you're on your own now. the honest ways of making money are restrictive, and you learn later that the days you spent indoors, cooped up with your eyes on the screen and numbers scrolling past weren't a waste of time after all. you learn that day, everyone is at the mercy of information.[break][break]

your reputation precedes you. one big operation bringing down a large company in galar is all it takes to attract the attention of rocket. they recruit you into their ranks. it's convenient that they pick you up right after your previous group dropped you, again, to the mercy of the police. unlike your "friends", rocket has kept you with them for years to come. you learn that day, there is a place for you here.[break][break]

your loyalty is built on a feeling of family, something you tremble at the thought of losing again; even when your body wants to give out. it takes one slip up for you to be alerted. [break][break]
