"Boss huh?" Oscar rubbed his chin, digging through his brain for any information that might help. Luckily his time researching Interdream Mist with Lulu Flint was about to payoff. "These 'paradox' pokemon are usually created using Interdream Mist, which can commonly be produced by restless Musharna. Keep your eyes out for one of those, it might be what's causing this mess."

At least they had a goal now, look for whatever is producing the mist that was summoning these warriors. Oscar cracked his knuckles and pulled a pure red pokeball from off of his belt. He opened it toward some open space beside him, summoning a Genesect with black armor (complete with flame decals). The Genesect looked to its master for instruction.

"Prime, let's get down there. After that, rip and tear until the fighting stops." Prime performed a slow nod. It had been a while since it was given permission to engage in all-out combat. This shall be a refreshing change, a chance to unleash its restrained aggression. The Genesect turned, allowing Oscar to climb onto its back. Oscar turned his head toward Sydney. "Try to stay close. If we get separated, it will make it easier for them to overwhelm us. Good luck."

Oscar tapped Prime's head, and the cyborg would leap off of the platform. It landed with one claw striking the ground, creating a loud scraping that attracted the attention of some robotic Iron Thorns nearby. As the mechanical horrors gingerly approached, Oscar would hop off of Prime's back. "Like I said, rip and tear." Genesect lowered its head, charging its cannon with an incredible amount of energy. Before the Iron Thorns could get too close, Prime would unleash its stored power as a dazzling silver beam (Techno Blast--Steel). The Iron Thorns were ripped apart by the attack, creating an opening to delve further into the fray.

Oscar watched Sidney and her noivern circle overhead, casually covering his ears when the drake let loose a Boom Burst. Luckily Prime was not close enough to be affected by the blast of sound, otherwise it may have been stunned as well. Speaking of which, the blackened Genesect was having a hell of a time engaging with some of the primal beasts.

Its claws were glowing with red fury as it slashed into every Screaming Tail, Great Tusk, and Sandy Shocks it came upon (Fell Stinger). Some of its opponents maybe hoped to get the jump on it, or overwhelm it with superior numbers. Each and every one of them would be outmatched by Prime's insane power. Now only was it getting stronger with every kill, but the cyber warrior was constantly adjusting its body to withstand whatever meager attacks the paradox pokemon would throw at it (Download).

Its first challenging opponent would be a Slither Wing, which fearlessly blocked Prime's strike with its majestic wings. The creature Thrashed about, lashing Prime with a series of infuriated blows. Natural strength could not outdo training though, and Prime would stab the combatant in the head as soon as the opening presented itself.

Shrugging off the bug's corpse, Prime would continue to carve through the hoard while Oscar casually followed close behind.

As Prime let loose a salvo of Magnet Bombs into a crowd of Paradox pokemon, Oscar would look toward Sidney as she called to him. His eyes followed where she was pointing, and he would spot flashes of pink between the clashing bodies of other combatants. His theory was correct, a Musharna was behind this mess--and it was nearby.

Oscar looked to Prime, who had just finished flattening a Sandy Shocks with its heel. "Prime! Rip and tear this way." Oscar pointed toward the direction of the Musharna, and Prime would move to form a path. It would be abruptly thwarted as a blood drenched Roaring Moon appeared out of nowhere to pin Prime to the ground.

The frenzied beast roared in Prime's face, and the unamused Prime would screech back. Oscar groaned at the inconvenience, gingerly moving toward the struggling duo as other paradox pokemon filled in the gaps left by their fallen kin. Prime's cannon charged once more before being unleashed upon the Roaring Moon's head (Techno Blast). The blast incinerated the screaming creature and ripped into the ceiling, causing chunks of rocks to fall across the battlefield.

Oscar got right against Prime as it tossed aside the headless dragon. They were now surrounded, packed too tightly to reach the Musharna. Prime resumed ripping into any creature that got near it. Oscar looked up to Sidney, unflinching as blood and oil splattered across his face. "This won't stop until the Musharna's dead! Take it out Sidney!"

At first Oscar was worried that Sidney would lose her resolve. She seemed hesitant to execute the Musharna, and if she could not then Oscar was about to have a very bad day. Luckily she found her courage, and took out the sleeping summoner. As the mist died down, the paradox pokemon gradually begin to stop spawning. Those that have already formed continue to beat down upon each other, only this time when they fall none appear to replace them.

Prime thrashed across the chamber, using its incredible stacks of power to cut down the remaining combatants. Before long, the once chaotic room fell silent. The dazzling crystal walls were buried beneath layers of blood, casting everything in a red hue. Even after the final opponent fell, Prime would continue to stab into bodies to fulfill its blood lust. Oscar decided to allow the normally restrained cyborg to let off some steam, stepping over bodies to make his way toward Sidney.

"Nicely done." He said as he approached. He was caked in paradox viscera, yet he would address Sidney as if they had only finished practicing a dance routine. "You seemed to hesitate there at the end but I'm glad you found your nerve. Musharna are always sleeping, so knocking it out wouldn't have fixed anything." Oscar loomed over the pink creature, which now seemed just as peaceful as it normally did--with the addition of a few puncture wounds. He studied it for a time but gave no words on its behalf. It was a sorry soul that had a nightmare in the worst possible place, nothing more than that.

Oscar turned toward Sidney, "Well that's another job under the belt. How about I treat you to some breakfast? I know a fuckin' bomb-ass pancake place in Oldale." Oscar turned his head toward Prime, who was still stabbing into already dead bodies. "Prime cut it out we're leaving!" Prime heard the command but struggled to get its rage under control. It let out several more harsh strikes before steadily calming itself down. It heaved heavily, as if it had just finished running across the entirety of Hoenn. Oscar of course acted as if this was normal.
