It had been a while since she'd visited the safari zone. She had heard there were yamask here, and she had yet to catch one herself. She walked beside Sinistea as the two traveled through the area. She never knew quite what to expect, though she had one pokemon to look out for this time. It was fun to see the odd combinations of pokemon that would populate the zone each month. She was eager to catalog the ones for April.

Weird.

"Do you see that guy?" Robin points at the Yamask ahead of them that isn't holding a mask at all. "I thought they all carried masks..." Sinistea floated ahead and chimed something that the Yamask seemed to understand. The two of them communicated, though Robin could not follow along word for word as a human. Her affinity for ghosts left her with a good idea of what was being said, but she couldn't be totally sure. Still, after a few moments, both floated back to her with pleased dispositions. "Say less," Robin responded with cheer. A new ghost for the squad was always welcome.

"Remember our Nickit-now-Thievul? This guy's got a winter coat on." Robin thought both colorings were pretty. She tossed a pokeball at the Nickit, but it dodged the ball. Sinistea used poltergeist to possess the pokeball, throwing it at the back of the fox pokemon's head. The pokemon flinched. Then, Sinistea opened the ball and triggered its capture mechanism as she fled the item. The pokeball consumed the Nickit as Sinistea returned to Robin's side.

Ah. It took Robin a moment to place the pokemon in front of her. The not-Pikachu was actually right up her alley in terms of typing, but she had heard Gwen mention the Mimmikyu at some point. She knew it would be the perfect present for her best friend, especially after smacking the Ranger in the nose with her elbow. Robin felt guilty about it despite Gwen's assurances that it was fine. "You're the perfect apology-present," Robin murmured as she waited for the pokemon to take interest in the berry beside it. As the pokemon bent to sniff, Robin tossed a pokeball right at its back.

Robin offered Sinistea a fistbump, which the ghost accepted by bumping into her hand with its whole body. "Nice work," she praised. They were catching pokemon left and right. Things were going well for the duo, and Robin had the benefit of not being as ill as she was the last time she visited the safari zone. She was getting back on her feet from the overexposure to poison last month. "Let's see what else is out here."

The shieldon was very cute and brave. She saw it stomping around and taking no ish from a larger pokemon. She wasn't sure how territorial they were naturally. They seemed like natural protectors, though, and it seemed he was looking to prepare himself for a life of protecting others based on how he didn't give an inch to the larger shieldon. These were the kinds of things that made her want to study pokemon behavior, but she knew it would get boring. Data collection wasn't a strong suit of hers.

"Look at her!" Robin pulled Sinistea close as she pointed at the small Riolu. "She's adorable." The classic blue coloring of a Riolu was iconic, but this coloring was pretty, too. The little fighter was punching the air, fired up. She needed the little fiend on her team immediately. "Mist her," Robin instructed more quietly. Sinistea used aromatic mist. The sweet scent distracted the young pokemon. Robin got in close and tossed a pokeball at a safe distance. The capsule shook once, twice...
