As he was wont to do anytime something disruptive in the region occurred, Lam paid a visit to the safari zone.[break][break]
In the days that followed the fallout on Mt. Chimney, he wandered the contained space. The mundane normalcy of it bringing him back down to earth.[break][break]
It all felt so typical, walking down the path with his shinx trailing beside him. Compared to the the grandiosity that had been the primal groudon's furor, this was so quaint.[break][break]
But it was this aspect of life that Lam preferred. And he needed the reminder of that stark difference to bring him back around.

"Let's catch the first thing we find, huh?" Lam said as he glanced down at Noodle where he trotted alongside him. The yamask that came into view didn't hide itself too well, hovering about with a lazy sway. For a moment, he thought it was sleeping in midair, but then it blinked its eyes and realized they were there.[break][break]

"Go nab it before it vanishes!" He cheered the shinx on, and Noodle darted forward with little bounding leaps. Electricity surged around him, but when he made his attack on the yamask, his little maw opened instead to freeze the ghost type in place with a blast of FROST BREATH.

with the yamask contained, the pair was free to resume their ambling walk. his shinx scampered ahead, eager to find something else to tussle with. what sprang from the brush was a curious nickit. it swiped out at noodle, who went tumbling back.[break][break]
not wanting to be outdone, the feline doubled back, tail lashing. he twisted, and then smacked at the fox with an iron tail that knocked it flat.
