The perfect opportunity to do what they did best. Stealing. The best time to steal was under the cover of darkness. Especially when their skill set was concerned.

“I sure am!” said Amaya, as she skipped towards Sage as though she was in a field of flowers. She wore a black jacket, gray jeans, white sneakers, and a smile on her face. “Did I keep you waiting? If so, I’m sorry for that.”

“But enough idle talk – remind me, what are we stealing again?” She didn’t seem the least bit afraid of being alone in a dark alleyway. After all, she wasn’t in danger; she was the danger, as a TV character had once put it. Her Paldean accent was thick, but it was easy enough to indicate insincerity in her voice. Just a cat playing with her partner.
