Training day had never seemed as static as it had today. Quite literally so, with the amount of Voltorbs scattered about in the large room; they seemed everywhere, both on and off the obstacle course. It made the model frown, even looking up at the training officer 'hidden' on the balcony a dozen feet above the obstacle course.

They didn't seem very interested as long as they weren't using the course, but it was obvious that despite their nonchalance they were paying attention to the grunts present.

The grunts in question being herself and a her training partner for the day, who seemed chipper, even with their text-to-speech voice. Learning that they was non-hearing made her pause for a moment; which would make things a lot harder if they were to do a team exercise.

Innerly cursing that she'd left her phone in her locker, Calliope nodded and started typing furiously on the small watch on her wrist, then thrusting it out towards her partner.

"Here, this should help!"

A ping, and the device would receive Calliope's encrypted ID data, allowing their texts to reach one another's devices too.

"Calliope, or Cal, whichever you prefer." she gives the girl a brief smile, then points at the obstacle course as a new text arrives. "Sorry if it's a bit forceful, but I have no idea what the training today will entail. Rather cover all my bases in case this is a team exercise and we're too far away from one another."

Of course. Regular explosive pokémon weren't enough, they had to be amped up a notch... or ten, knowing Rocket.

The red light signals their start; as the doors open Calliope decides to make a run for the first obstacle now the orbital mons aren't fully aware of their location. If they could get to high ground before they did, they could survey and look for the central spot Fenelle needed. If it was uberhaupt there.

Calliope points at the nearest wall; it's a steep climb, a good dozen feet up, but very much doable if they ran full throttle. The little machine on their wrist beeps their conversation for them, just in case her signaling doesn't come over well. "Up there, before they block the way."

Calliope scales the wall with ease, her height trumping the exercise. But she needs Fenelle to come along, so turns almost instantly, extending a hand to help them up. Worst case scenario she'll jump back down to boost them up, however that might look on their examiner's report.

Calliope sees the smaller Rocket struggling to scale the slope, and after a few taps on her wrist finally bends down to help dem up. Simultaneously a small message pops up. "Don't worry, I won't leave you behind!"

As Calliope drags dem unto the platform she gives them a small smile. "We're in this together."

When she reads the message, the silverhaired one frowns. "How will that...? Actually, explain that to me later. I'll distract the examiner, but I don't know how long I'll keep his attention." she texts back, pulling one of her pokéballs out. A Mightyena appears beside her and awaits instructions.

Calliope kneels down next to it and whispers something inaudible, though Fenelle might be able to read her lips.

"Don't let them see you."

The next moment the Mightyena makes a run across the obstacles, flithering until it seems to disappear from view almost instantly even though there's perfect visibility for them. For the examiner however, a makeshift roof is in the way.

"On the count of three!"

From the side a slithering shadow makes it way down the obstacles and underneath the Voltorbs in the blink of an eye.

"Two."

Calliope follows it as it moves further and further away, off into the corner of the room, into the opposite direction.

"One."

Alecto surfaces only partially from the shadows, its face hidden among the many Electrodes and Voltorbs as it nips at one of them, hard enough to make it agitated. The next moment it disappears again, slithering back while the Voltorb starts beeping loudly, moments away from detonating.

"NOW!"

The Voltorb explodes, setting off several others. The examiner startles and turns around entirely to see what's going on, not expecting anything to happen away from the ones he's meant to examine. While distracted, Alecto surfaces again underneath the roof, barking soundlessly. It'll only take seconds before the examiner focuses back on them.

Calliope keeps an eye on the man above; worst case scenario she'll have to do something really crazy to keep his eyes off of Fenelle.
