To battle Fenelle's boredom, dee calls for der Magnemite ... but even this one would be distracted quickly enough. It seems that right now, the only interesting thing is a Pachirisu which has the Volt Absorb ability. It doesn't appear particularly hostile, as Magnemite and her engage in a bit of a game for a moment where Magnemite would use Electric attacks over and over again, but leaves the Pachirisu entirely unaffected. After a while of watching, Fenelle simply sighs and calls for Milcery while moving onward in the safari zone.

Not the most noble tactic, but being seperated from another part of the braincell works wonders when it comes to keeping them in a group.

The siren call of being left behind is enough to have Fuecoco and Magnemite follow along again, with Milcery leading the charge as she trails behind Fenelle. Right now, it doesn't seem like the half of a braincell would actually do much ... ...

Dee stands corrected. Maybe attracted by the Sweet Veil scent, a Klefki appears- and oh.

Fenelle throws the safari ball with force, seeing that it is actually a rare shiny as well - this confirms der suspicion that the safari zone might have quite a shiny spawn rate. But where do these come from ... ...

While Fenelle's still pondering the machinations of the safari zone, Fuecoco is drawn wayward once again. And it doesn't take long for Fenelle to also notice the distinct smell of burned grass - oho. Something dee actually has been on the lookout for. Dee and the other three follow the scent quickly, and surely enough, find a lounging Sizzlipede that doesn't seem disturbed by their arrival at all.

Dee doesn't hesitate to throw the ball, hoping that it was simply indifferent enough to not escape ... and hopefully it would also be good with being used as a cooking plate to help Fenelle cut down on electricity cost. Those seem to have raised massively over the last few months ...

As Fenelle walks over to collect der safariball with the successful capture, dee does notice something else, too ... it turns out that the Sizzlipede hasn't been lounging around on his own, but also had someone lying next to him. At the absence of her presumed friend, the Dunsparce looks slightly baffled and maybe even a bit upset. Accusingly, it looks up at Fenelle who holds the ball into which her friend disappeared into ... ...

And with newfound clarity, she Curses Fenelle.

It at least doesn't appear immediately effective as Fenelle simply frowns, unsure what even has happened at all. Dee doesn't linger for long, either, and simply walks away, unperturbed ... dee does feel a bit more sluggish compared to before, thouhg. Strange.

Weird, Fenelle frowns, which prompts a sliver of concern from der pokémon. All four of them don't seem to know what they should be doing about it, however, so Fenelle and der Fuecoco, Milcery and Magnemite just continue onwards as if nothing had happened. But, dee definitely feels like dee has spent too much time outside - and they say that being outdoors is good for you, but look at where dee has ended up at ...

Dee spends some more time musing, before eventually stumbling upon another pokémon - a Klink. Fenelle ponders, already having a Klinklank ... but dee is actually not unfond of this pokémon, relating to its general cog in the machine aesthetic ... and there the safari ball goes, just to see if it might stick.

It seems like most of the safari pokémon of the day might have walked or not moved at all so a Cyclizar may speed across the area and almost hit Fenelle on the way. He does seem to cycle back with an apologetic look on his face, which Fenelle only meets with a slight frown, then a headshake. Since nothing happened - and Milcery also hasn't been involved in too much movement - it would be all good and fine for the moment ... ... but hmm.

Dee stares at the Cyclizar for a moment, and then another moment, under which the pokémon grew more and more confused, before being eventually hit by a safari ball - just in time for the Safari Warden to call Fenelle back.
