Again Razz had needed a minute as the last simulation hit a little too close to home with the whole 'brothers fighting' situation. Though he's back again with another bottled water, "So you having fun with these?" he questions curious on how the other was handling this much simulation. [break][break]

Though when the situation changes again as they're in ruins of some sort. Not one that he was completely familiar with but he was willing to explore none the less. The unown that riddled the walls were familiar though and he pondered for a moment of whether or not this place was truly theirs or if it might be from wherever the Drk Traid came from. [break][break]

As they go deeper there is a darkness there, and there seems to be an odd attraction to it, and Razz thinks of 'why fight it?' this was a simulation right? They shouldn't get too hurt here. Besides Salem was always there to keep him safe from whatever could happen.

Gwyar gave the younger man a wry side eye, lip curling into an amused smile.

"No." He said simply, the ancient temple around them reminding him all too much of his recent death at Regirock's hands, alongside Josh Devlin.

"But one must be prepared for any eventuality, all the same."

If nothing else, the simulation was good at placing him in situations he wouldn't have normally thrown himself in.

On account of not being suicidal.

One might've been forgiven for thinking otherwise after seeing them delve deeper and deeper into the temple's darkness.

"A simulated torch would've been appreciated." Gwyar cracked uncharacteristically as the darkness around them became utterly blinding.

Well that made two of them at least, and seems like the two of them had something in common. [break][break]

The sense of self leaves as going deeper seems to mess with his mind, though unlike the humans Salem seems to notice this and seems to try and snap his trainer out of it at first. Worry coming over the Meowstic as it seemed like Razz wasn't really listening. Not until the group was slammed into the wall. And all of a sudden the letters engraved into the wall took shape to be the actual thing. [break][break]

Razz seems to only come to then though isn't entirely sure what the Unown mean. Not at first anyway before Salem uses SPRINGTIDE STORM to get the lettered pokemon away from both Gwyar and his trainer before he would try to lead the two out.

No wonder humans were naturally afraid of the dark.

Pushed against the wall by an unknown force (presumably, psychic), they found themselves surrounding by encroaching eye balls.

A terribly unnerving sight.

As the mass of Unown were pushed away from them by Razz's partner, he couldn't help but ponder over their message whilst sprinting behind the man, the simulation beginning to dissolve back to white as they stumbled through the dark.

As always, the simulation was replete with cryptic nonsense.

Although it is devoid of leaves or fruits, it is a sacred and splendid scene seemingly untouched for one thousand years. Around its base, Pokemon kneel though they do not seem alive. They've been petrified into absolute stone.[break][break]

Coming close, you sense the tree "speaking" to you. It beckons for you to water it.[break][break]

Wasn't this the same tree that was once in Sootopolis?

a question that it has been too long for him to fully recall, and even then the details were unclear as it had been during the time Rockets had taken over the island. He gets past it as he just takes in the scene itself, a tad worried when the pokemon around weren't just standard stone but petrified. "Do you think they're trapped by this?" Razz questions the knight unsure how to go about this. [break][break]

The tree is giving off that it wants to be watered, but after what happened in the last simulation do they trust it? After taking a moment to think about it Razz finally calls out his Froakie and clicks his tongue for them to use HYDRO PUMP to help water the tree.

He patted himself off as their running came to a stop, the earlier pump of adrenaline beginning to dissipate as he took in their new surroundings.

He vaguely recognized the shade of the tree that had once towered over to Sootopolis in the bark of the one before them.

"Perhaps." He knew little of the tree of life.

He stood aside as his companion took the lead, blasting the sentient plant life with exactly what it wanted.

"A little excessive." He noted with some amusement as the torrent slowly died down.

What came next, then? Would they be made to regret their choice?

[attr="class","itemcoltext"]You water the tree. Suddenly, you hear a crackling sound of moving wood, the bare tree's branches swaying as if alive. Around you, the petrified Pokemon stir alive. The stone crumbles apart as new fur, hide and scale emerge.[break][break]

The tree settles back into dormancy, but the Pokemon eventually turn to you in thanks.[break][break]

Curiously, these Pokemon feature brilliant markings that glow and glimmer beautifully in the dappled sunlight. Whether they were originally Illumina Pokemon or not is uncertain, but they shine bright with gratitude.

"Well he doesn't have a weaker water attack, and I'm sure the tree can survive this," crippled or not, its still a sturdy tree. Though as he hears the cracking he believes he might have been mistaken for awhile, though it seems like the tree itself was coming to life before suddenly the pokemon around them start coming back to life. Their petrification wearing off and seem to have glowing marks to them. [break][break]

As some come close Razz can't help but take a closer look at the markings. "This illumina?" he questions with curiosity as they seem similar to that of his Milotic, "Least nothing bad happened this time," because lord knows he was sick of it at this point. Having a nice ending was a good chance of pace.

"Well this thing has been out for awhile now right? Just how much more new information can we learn that hasn't already been discovered?" he can't help but question curious on what more could be discovered from this. Though at the very least he was learning new things if nothing else. Not that the facility didn't have this information out to the open for people to look into. [break][break]

They don't have much time to ask for more as another scenario comes into place and suddenly they seem to be out in space. For once there seems to be an actual reaction from the Ranger rather than his common nonchalantness. An eye wide in awe as he takes in the scenery around them on how they were on an actual fucking spaceship IN SPACE. "This is so cool!" he mutters aloud for once actually sounding like the young twenty year old he was. [break][break]

A reaction that wouldn't hold though as the war train man takes hold as something shakes the ship. Like hell he is letting his first experience in space be a deadly one. As he calls for both Royal and Tango to help and aide him fight against whatever this damn hand was. While he was sure the battle would be hard, he had a desperation to keep on going that he wasn't about to abandon.
