Aqua sat beside Kouji while out on their first real mission in a while. He had been taken into official Rocket training after being recruited. While the organization was somewhat lenient due to their age, saying that it was easy was quite the understatement. It pushed everyone to their peak and then expected more and more. It would all be worth it if it meant that they could bring about peace to the homes of Pokemon everywhere. [break][break]

That put them were they were now. Seated before the other man, Aqua's eyes went over to the plans in front of the two. Stopping a ship seemed simple enough. With their skillsets, there was no way this could stop both of them! Aqua did shoot Kouji a confused look at that last part but it was a scenario they had come across beforehand. [break][break]

They rose their hand at chest level, flexing their hands into an "O" shape, then closing all but one one at the halfway mark to switch to the next letter, "K". [break][break]

Probably not what they had wanted to see, but Aqua was notable in the lower grunts for their silence. [break][break]

Kouji looked at the signed letters and tilted his head to the side somewhat dumbly before he shook himself out of it. It was what it was, some people liked using hand signals and stuff, young people more so; maybe they were just in that age where they thought it was cool?

Hard to tell.

”Great. We’ll go by sea, sky has too much of a chance of people finding out about us. We sneak on, take out who we can, and see if we can redirect the shipment or wait for further support. If not, we can just sink it.” It was simple, travelling there would take a few minutes at the best.

”I ain’t too good at the whole signal thing, so try to use radio. Fool’s Gold here.” He stated his codename as he got out his Dracovish, it’d be rather quick in general. ”You got a water type, or need me to spot ya?”

The two looked at one another, with the younger Rocket blinking in confusion. Aqua proooobably should have informed the guy that they weren't exactly keen on letting others hear their voice well. Judging at the perplexed stare, they tried to make things a bit more simple for him to understand. Their hands touched pointed at their lips before mirroring the universal signal for remaining silent, like what a teacher would give to some unruly kids. [break][break]

That out of the way, the plan was set up quite simply. Going in by sea reduced the chances of being discovered, but Aqua loved any chance to hang out around the seas or ocean as possible. It was how they got their namesake, after all! [break][break]

The lively Rocket threw out a pokeball, calling out their Lapras to the field. The water-type let out a soft cry, craning its head over to the two Rockets. Aqua hurried over and patted their Pokemon's shell while beaming at Kouji, inviting him to sit down. [break][break]

Kouji heard the shush, and tilted his head to the side.

Were they telling Kouji to be quiet? That seemed to be rather rude, Kouji gave a huff before he sat down next to Aqua, facing the other way and crossing his arms tightly across his chest. ”Could’ve just asked me nicely.” Or were they the type that didn’t talk at all during missions?

Maybe they were dea- No, they heard him.

Kouji couldn’t quite figure it out, but he took in a deep breath. ”I’ll forgive ya though.” He said as he turned around and faced Aqua, hand extended.

In the meantime, it seems that the distance between them and the ship they were supposed to get on was closing rather quickly, which meant business and way less chatting.

At least way less chatting for the one of them, as Kouji grabbed onto the stairs that led up the ship. It wasn’t a tanker, nor even anywhere near that ballpark, more like a super yacht in size. But it still required stairs such as these to get up to the top deck.

And he took them, before making sure the coast was clear, and signalling that it was fine to board, he hopped on, kept himself low, and pressed his back to a cargo box. ”We’ll move.”

Ugh, was this guy just dense or something? Aqua furrowed their brows in thought about how they could explain this to somebody who wasn't getting it as they normally did, but it was slowly getting on them. Their hand fell into Kouji's as they chewed the inside of their cheek. The Lapras would swim along with them, unphased by its owner's worries and such. [break][break]

Once they were close enough, both Rockets made their way onto the ship. The Lapras dunked back underneath the water while they began their infiltration mission. Aqua shadowed Kouji expertly, their skills in previous encounters with the other side of the law coming in handy. They ducked behind another large piece of machinery that was beside Kouji and look over. [break][break]

Once they were good, the smaller of the two peeked out from their hiding spot for any possible people coming. [break][break]

They gave Kouji a thumbs up and awaited his lead. [break][break]

Seeing that the coast was clear, Kouji got ready to move, a knife tucked away in his sleeve in case they ran into trouble; he was sure they’d make it out just fine. Though, a part of him wondered how well this person would be able to stomach such things?

Better to err on the side of caution, his golden eyes swiped from left to right before he placed his back to a wall, the corner just beyond. He poked his knife around to look around, before giving a thumbs up.

”Control room.” He knew the term was the bridge, even on a ship of this size. And they weren’t particularly far from it either, another corner and they’d reach the door, from there they’d have total control.

”We blitz it.” He said as he quickly moved down the last side of the deck, while hugging close to the wall throughout, and keeping his body low to the ground. He took a second to catch his breath.

It was the moment of truth, as he turned and found a singular member of staff, he couldn’t kill so he dashed in, low to the ground; like a snake he took the man’s legs, and wrestled with him on the ground, he was sure that Aqua could deal with anyone else that turned up.

Just charging right in, huh> Aqua was slowly liking this guy's style more and more. The quiet Rocket nodded and awaited the first move from Kouji with baited breath. They knelt close to the ground with their eyes on the door leading inside of the control room. Their partner wasted no time and downing a member of the staff here and pinning him down onto the ground. WHile they tussled, Aqua made their way closer until footsteps peered around the corner. A heavyset man stood in full view of the three people and quickly jumped in to help out the comrade Kouji was fighting on the floor. Aqua ran into him shoulder first before he could get in and break up the fight. The attack hadn't done anything besides to annoy the larger male as Aqua steeled themselves. They aimed a quick jab at the belly of the strongman in front of them, which bounced off without any real harm done. It happened again and again and still, nothing was happening. FOr their trouble, the smaller Rocket received a swift jab to the jace to stun them, before they were put in a chokehold and held away. [break][break]

Aqua's limbs flailed around as they struggled to free themselves. Their eyes wandered over to see how Kouji was doing before they quietly groaned. No much for not speaking... [break][break]

"Fool's Gold!" [break][break]

Their voice, while present, was high pitched and somewhat whiny. Their legs booted the man in the gut while attempting to wriggle free of their grapple. [break][break]

Kouji could feel the strain of the wrestle, he was trained in this; he had been practicing since he could walk, how to kill a man. He knew where to go to, and where to prod, the moment his enemy got a hold of his shirt, he stabbed the man’s arm, then snaked around him; taking his side, pulling on the arm, and wrapping his legs around his neck, before using his knee as the fulcrum for the crank.

It was a choke, but he also controlled his opponent’s arm. He just had to pull harder, a knife in hand was a good deterrent.

But he heard his codename, it was a voice he hadn’t heard before, but at the same time it was a voice of a teammate who needed him. He didn’t have any time to waste, and so he pulled hard, well beyond the point of any safety until he heard a pop.

Shooting to his feet, and seeing his opponent hold Aqua in a choke, turned around, and struggling. Kouji knew that he needed to do something here, figure out a path to the fastest resolution. Killing without taking his opponent’s name was beyond his creed, so he dashed in. keeping himself low to the ground.

It was almost careless looking, as if he didn’t mind hitting his own team mate, but he turned last minute, spinning on the ball of his feet to drive his dagger into his opponent’s back, and to kick at the leg of Aqua’s captor, they were quickly causing a ruckus.

”Break out, and find a way to take over the controls. I’ll keep any people busy, the door’s all yours.” As footsteps approached, Kouji just had to figure this one out in some way or another.

Kouji had leapt into action and quickly dispatched the opponent that had grappled them. Aqua watched the knife slide into the back and freed themselves as the man went down. Taking a moment to balance themselves, the smaller Rocket agent glanced over to Kouji and a look of relief. [break][break]

"Thanks." They said in that same high pitched voice as before. "What now?" [break][break]

They were given their next set of orders and off the Rocket went. Aqua managed to slip away as more people came to investigate the noise. They slid into a thin crevice within the rooms just as they ran directly by Aqua's location. It took a few seconds of footsteps shrinking in the distance away until they continued on their journey to the control room. Their presence wasn't known across the entire ship yet. Good, it meant that stealth was still a favorable approach. [break][break]

Aqua came across the after-mentioned control room of the ship and sloooowly opened the door to peer inside. There were three people accounted for, busy steering the ship and unknowing of the threat that lied in store for them. Aqua took out a Pokeball and called out their Tadbulb to their hands. Clutching it carefully, he gave gently pushed it inside and allowed the electric-type to roll towards the crew. Tadbulb lit up with an energetic cry, gaining the attention of the crew. But then one moment later, a solid DISCHARGE would paralyze all of them. [break][break]

Aqua waited until the coast was clear, then walked inside and strode right up to the captain's seat. While not too knowledgeable about how to steer a ship like this, they could learn on the fly. A few button pushes here, a flick of a switch there. The ship had come to a complete standstill, the engine ceasing its powered state. Aqua searched through the radio for the right frequency to call in back up for getting the cargo and- [break][break]

Pain. They were thrown against the wall by the captain, who had somehow shrugged off the shock given to him. Aqua smashed their heads against one another, then went and bite down on the man's hand. Blood oozed into his mouth slowly, the metallic taste like licking a rusted Klink. Theyr fight continued in the captain's room, as they were thrown onto the table, smashing into several important looking things. [break][break]

Just as quickly as the boat turned off, the engine would soon roar to life, accelerating at an even faster speed than before. Any unsecured things (including people) were thrown away, as some unfortunate people were tossed over the railings of the ship, into the blue bottom. [break][break]

"Get offa me!" Aqua warned, smashing his foot into the head of the captain. The Tadbulb helped their trainer out by sending shocks aginst hi,m which only shocked Aqua in addition to the captain. Their hands fell onto a loose wrench and smacked the man's temple with it, paid in full by having their head slammed into the wall. [break][break]
