Around you, Poison Tera Crystals, minerals imbued with Dynamax Energy, and more exist for you to mine, harvest, and gather. However, more exists below each power spot. In fact, it is possible to leap into these power spots into dark labyrinthe caves below.[break][break]

Given everything that had taken place within the sands of the desert, it was no wonder that expeditions were being called left and right in order to gather information, ascertain resources, and figure out just what exactly might have caused all of the dyngergy to surface.[break][break]
Yuina glanced at a woman that was assigned to accompany on one such mission, and she did in fact look familiar, one of the many faces marred by sand that fought against the titanic golem that surged through the desert.[break][break]
"It might be best to get down into the depths before any more of those titanic Pokémon come up from the sand," Yuina muttered after a moment, sitting astride Harrow's shoulders as she peered down into the depths of the dyna spot that radiated in the desert sands. If the woman needed help getting down, she was welcome onto the Braviary's back, as the two of them made their descent.

Choosing to remain atop Harrow's back as they made their descent, Yuina glanced to the woman who stood atop a Metagross, hovering down with them and then through the cavernous depths below.[break]
"Or destroy the power spot... There's no telling what kind of damage would be done to the surrounding environment," Yuina wondered, if something that gargantuan came up from the depths of the power spot, would it break the already unstable balance the dynergy maintained within the power spot?[break][break]
Lofting above the ground, Yuina held Harrow for a moment, two paths they could choose from... Until she heard the all too familiar groans and inhuman snarls... Megalopolans?[break][break]
"I think we should go this way? I don't think we want to encounter Megalopolans if we can help it..."

Her eyes slide over to Yuina. The younger woman seemed a serious sort, so maybe the agent had to flatten her eccentric sine waves before things went wrong.[break][break]

She also additionally had to curb her excitement at hearing the words Megalopolan. It was objectively the wrong choice to stumble into them, but nonetheless…[break][break]

And/or encounter a DYNAMAXED/GIGANTAMAXED POKEMON WITH A DYNAMAX SHIELD that must be downed. Regardless, the Pokemon will perish after its transformation. Investigating its carcass will reveal that it has somehow incorporated Dynite Ore onto its body. Though it is no Regi-titan, one may make macabre parallels.[break][break]

Taking to the ground for a moment, Yuina glanced at the woman as she spoke of testing the destruction of destroying a power spot... Maybe she was only joking, but the implications of that could truly be catastrophic, even if they were secluded in a vast desert.[break][break]
"Seclusion is a good factor, but we would also have to wonder if releasing the energy that way would cause dynergy radiation to spread? I don't think any of the power spots in Hoenn have been destroyed yet," Yuina theorized, for theory sake, as she started to gather up some crystals from the cavernous walls.

The board is filled with too many pieces. Chess, shogi, xiangqi, it mattered not the rules: power spots simply occupied a certain square on the grid, and eventually a piece would land there in the ongoing conflict.[break][break]

“Let us hope it never happens in the cities, at least.”[break][break]

Yujin releases her excadrill and with a pointed snap both her pokemon set about mining. Suffice to say the engineer has a lot of experience in industrial processes, and the way the excadrill digs up all the crystals while the metagross levitates them into a sturdy pile can only be called routine.[break][break]

It was only a matter of time... Yuina mulled over the woman's words, and the sentiment wasn't incorrect. It couldn't be, given how powerful and unstable dynergy had already proven to be. Would one of the power spots inevitably break down and destroy everything in its vicinity? Would it be like a bomb that could spread radiation poisoning for miles on end?[break][break]
"Yeah... We can hope... Hope that studying everything we can down here might give us an idea of what we could be dealing with in the future," Yuina wondered, but their theorizing would have to come to an end. The caverns shook and trembled, a powerful surge of dynergy and a rumbling, bellowing cry that sounded far too big for anything natural. Dynergy caught hold of something down there and it was dangerous. In spite of the well oiled machine that were the woman's two Pokémon mining out crystal, they couldn't stick around to gather it all and could only take some as the rumbles grew closer, the ground shaking beneath their feet. Yuina didn't want to stick around to see what it was.
