Fortunately, or not so much, an abrupt blackout steals everyone's attention before Petra even has a chance to peruse the patient charts or sign-in. Battery-powered speakers erupt, blaring the pre-recorded broadcast while backup generators re-engaged the technology supporting the lives of their patients. Somehow, among all the beeping ruckus, everyone hears the order and hurries to their stations... [break] [break] CODE GREY. CODE GREY. ALL NURSES REPORT TO THEIR FLOORS. [break] [break] Scarce are the moments between awe and the ring of Petra's phone, which is an alert requesting nearby trainers or rangers to assist the workers at the Rustboro power plant. Apparently a band of wild pokemon had devastated some of the plant, and their efforts to fix the issue were stalled for every moment these pests were allowed to remain. [break] [break] Worse yet, their head electrical engineer was injured trying to protect the facility under his care. Accepting the job request, Petra moves towards the exit, managing to bump into another lady in all their hurry. "Ooufh!" She recoils, hardly acknowledging the face as she looked up to apologize. "So sorry!" Hesitating to rush ahead and collide again, Petra gradually realizes she's seen this co-worker before. Not here, but among the rangers she seldom worked with.
