Wright is a busy man while in the labs. Papers, blueprints all on display as he is looking more into possible design's for oscar clayton's project that he has been asked to help with. So when the email announcement about some new stupid simulation stuff to prep for war came out it rightfully went right into the trash. [Break][break]

So he has not show up to try for any of it in over a week as he was trying to work on prints that would work. But so far every simulation there was something wrong. So when his Rotom Drone comes to him with a call that he didn't even realize was already open "I'm busy tell whoever it is to get fucking lost"[Break][break]

"And I said they can eat a diii- Oh Underboss Quinn helllooo," his attitude took a quick 180 as he saw the Underboss on the drone's video camera, "To what do I owe the pleasure?" he questions through smiling, gritted teeth.

"Whaaaaat nooo, no need for that sir, had I know it was you I neeeeeverrr would've said such a thing," he would give zippy a look but any look he would give the Rotom he would be giving the Underboss himself and he wasn't interested in that. It wasn't that the Rotom didn't try to warn him though.[Break][break]

He hides a sigh but gives the other a nod, "Aye aye boss man," he responds back in admittedly dry tone as he would rather be working but there were conditions he had to follow. Once the call ends he would then give zippy the 'why didn't you warn me!?' look before wright would meet up with the other. [Break][break]

His expression exuding a trill to be there despite feeling the opposite. "What can I help you with today sir?"

He thinks, as always, of Kanto. Of how his superiors would've reacted to him voicing half of the things in his head. Of how they had reacted.[break][break]

He uses words where they'd used fists. He thinks Wright ought to be grateful for his restraint.[break][break]

They meet under the baking Hoennian sun with Sootopolis' Bay where a Beast and a General draft anxious recruits into their latest training sessions. When eyes fall on Wright, Cillian smirks.[break][break]

As much as Wright would love to protest he knows to hold his tongue. Giving a small 'tch' at the 'common courtesy' comment as the man barely had it in him to learn the names of those he worked it thus the whole 'deedee' name. How the other cares so much for these people he doesn't seem to wrap his head around, though maybe that's because he has yet to find those people he could actually understand proper 'connection.'[break][break]

Wright comes up as is, casual clothing with a lab coat over everything else. The man hoping the white would help keep him cooler within the blazing sun. He meets up with Cillian and looks like he isn't the only one around. Though he wonders if this all has to deal with the previous email he deleted. [break][break]

He ponders between both BEAST for a moment neither of them he was interested in but he has worked with Zev Harcourt before, "Better the crazy I know than the crazy I don't," Wright jokes with the other as despite everything he is actually trying to get on the other's better side but he only knows his own way and he is not the type to bend his style of interaction so easily. [break][break]

Either way he chooses Zev Harcourt for his answer for this whole set up.

Raw surprise registers in Cillian's raised brow before he schools his features back into their neutral state. Zev? Really? He looks between the general and the weedy scientist with doubt.[break][break]

The best Wright could hope for is that this wouldn't be a fight between the two of them. That would be lost before it even started.[break][break]

But after a moment, Cillian shrugs and steps toward the crowd forming around Harcourt's part of the beach, motioning Wright to follow him. He seems unbothered by the chill in the general's voice.[break][break]

Nearby, electricity crackles around fern delaney's patron. He shoots Wright a silent look.[break][break]

The scienist does as motioned to and follows along with the Underboss. Wright just making a guess that the other was here to make sure he stood there for the training no matter which way it went, unlike their time within the RKS. With the God General's cold tone Wright is just trying to bank on the whole 'the crazy you know' bit. He's worked with the man before and he has reassured him that if he ever had to fight it was because the fighters didn't do their job. As it should be in his opinion despite Cillian's insistence on giving him train. [break][break]

The electricity from the Tapu Koko does make him jump slightly and accidently bump into the underboss. Clearly he is terrified to be here, but he is putting on a brave face for now, smile clearly forced as he tried to keep his cool. He sees the look the underboss gives him and he readjust his lab coat as he replies back quietly, "Of course, think of it like this you want something built who are you gonna go to? Me or the baby sis? Obviously the baby sis because she's the crazy you know," he uses himself and Lulu Flint as an example to show his reasoning.[break][break]

When asked once again to separate into training groups or keep with the general Wright just doubles down. "I'm sticking with you general," clearly there was no way Cillian could continue to call him a coward with this choice.

Wright doubles down. Cillian certainly couldn't call him a coward, but fool wasn't off the table.[break][break]

"I'll tag along," he tells the General. To assure Zev that he doesn't intend to interfere, he offers a cutting smirk at Wright's expense. "I want to see how he does."[break][break]

He's been in these rooms many times before, on both sides of the scene. He doesn't envy the man in the chair.[break][break]

He does have to swallow the urge to laugh at the absurdity of the second statement.

As they're brought in and the prisoner, or possible con artist grunt were shown to him Wright has to cover his mouth. Acting as if he were in shock at the idea or at the very least considering the idea. But the honest truth?[break][break]

This was fucking it? A test of morals for a man who had none!? Clearly lady luck favored him today and his doubling down has brought him the possibility easiest option out of all the options presented today and Cillian couldn't say shit about not having done it. [Break][break]

After giving his act of thinking a minute he finally removes his hand from his mouth, smile gone for the moment, "Fuck it, kill 'em sucks if they're a grunt but I'm willing to take the chances," the probability was in his favor way he saw it.
