Cillian is good with his hands, well-equipped for the more delicate task of camera installation. Still, there is no hesitation in the way he gravitates toward the more demanding physical labour of reinforcing the tunnels; he wants his muscles aching by the end of it. Anything to help him sleep.[break][break]

He'd be happy enough to toil alone, but his stoic countenance breaks beneath a soft smile when he finds himself in familiar company.[break][break]

"Watch yourself," he cautions, though there's amusement rather than heat behind the words. "This old man could still knock you flat."

He has no intention of doing so. Instead, he directs Tori and her Pokémon with gestures and small comments while using clicks and whistles to instruct his Stakataka where to stand and what shapes to make. It becomes staircases to help them reach high places, towers to help hold beams in place while they're secured. It seems curious about Tori's Melmetal, having never seen one before.

Together, you reinforce the inner walls of the tunnels, enhancing their structural integrity. Once complete, nothing will be able to breach them — not the League, nor any other entity that dares to breach Rocket's inner heart. [break][break]

However, no matter how tireless you and your Pokémon labor away, the pile of steel beams are a pit of despair. They are endless. The realization soon dawns that it's not due to the workload itself but because you are the only one working! Glancing up, you spot a group of other Rockets goofing off - engaging in idle chitchat, lounging around, or just being plain difficult. [break][break]

He frowns at the pile of steel beams. Why did it feel like they'd been working for hours and making barely any progress?[break][break]

A laugh echoes down the tunnel, answering his question.[break][break]

Tori moves before he does, balling her fist with a muttered curse that suggests to the underboss that things are about to escalate. He follows her, scowling at the slackers.[break][break]

[break][break] He knew Tori well at this point. She wasn't one to mince words or pull punches. But considering the clear authority he held it would make better sense for him to step in than she.

[break][break] That should've been the end of it. An underboss was nothing to fuck with but it seemed these idiots were lacking more than few braincells and common sense.

These idiots couldn't be any dumber. They were showing their ass in front of an Underboss and were none the wiser.

[break][break] They ended up backing off with little to no problem. Especially because in the face of real power one could only cower if they weren't made of sturdier stuff.
