strange new vehicles had caused a stir online ahead of the impending war. starmobiles, powered by pokemon.[break][break]

they looked powerful, intimidating, and their utilization of tera crystals alone was plenty enough to justify building one. so, in the dark of night, when the work day had ended, lulu slipped away from her office to hunt.[break][break]

beneath the stars, a spectrier’s hooves sunk into the snow of the silent icelands, her on its back in a thick coat and hood. a faint glow radiated from an incense burner hanging from her fist, aromatic smoke dancing in the frosty air, hoping to draw out the parts for her new machine.[break][break]

a lairon’s nose was buried in the snow, digging for appetizing stones beneath the iceland’s frozen blanket. with one in its jaw, it raised its head at the scent of the scientist’s incense.[break][break]

her spectrier, sensing their company before it was close enough to hear, turned to face the lairon as it got closer in the dark. the steel-type’s curious noises were enough to tell that it was not what they were searching for.[break][break]

with a couple clicks of her tongue, lulu urged the ghostly horse onward on quick hooves, easily carrying them out of the hungry lairon’s range. the incense smoke danced further on the breeze.[break][break]

a lone kingambit was a strange sight, but the gleam of its blade under the moonlight was unmistakable.[break][break]

lulu didn’t have to tell her companion to stay clear of it. the spectrier galloped in the other direction, putting too much distance in the dark between them for steel-type to bother to follow.[break][break]

ultimately, their hunt would turn up nothing. when the sun began to poke over the horizon, they made their leave. there was work to do.[break][break]
