It had been some time since Yuina had been to the Safari Zone in the region, she had been rather busy with various things since then... Always strange to think how much more had happened between then and now, how many more things she was involved with, the things she was working on... Like making a trip into the safari just to make sure that all was well. Given the amount of different things that were happening to the Pokemon of the region, Yuina felt it best to make a visit for some field work, just to make sure that nothing was awry with the secluded environment.

Moving through a cluster of trees, Yuina heard rustling above her, something moving through the leaves and branches. Gliding down from the heights, a small purple bat came out from the foliage, and Yuina thought it looked familiar, but she could swear the one that she had seen in her garden before was much bigger than this, and a different color perhaps...[break]
The purple color concerned her though... Surely it didn't have anything to do with the toxic chain? But just to be safe, she looked to capture the Pokémon just to take a look over it before bringing it back, hoping that it was happy and healthy.

At least at first glance the small bat seemed healthy, and in spite of the purple color of its skin, Yuina couldn't see any indication that it had any remnants or formations of a toxic chain. That was positive, and she hoped that things would continue to pan out that way... She'd already found a handful of inflicted Pokémon and still hadn't been able to determine if the effects were remaining from the spring and had progressed for those already inflicted, or if there were still remnants out there that could be spreading... The more environments that she could survey and check out, the more information she could gather.

Thinking to herself, taking out a notepad and jotting down some thoughts and tangents that she would have to look at later, Yuina continued through the portion of the safari zone that she was surveying. To her Surprise there was a splash in a stream of water beside her, a small blue Pokémon emerged to the surface and scuttled about the shallows. It was kind of cute, and it blinked at her before scurrying back into the depths. Yuina watched it though, just to make certain, at least it looked healthy too.

Moving along the path through the safari zone, Yuina had taken a moment to glance at her phone, one of the girls had sent a meme in their group chat together. Overall, social media and things was a concept Yuina still hadn't quite taken to, but goodness if it wasn't an integral part of all of them interacting together. A technological wonder really.[break][break]
In her moment of taking pause though, something whirred past her in the air, spinning and tumbling, and for a moment she was afraid that if it came back towards her it was going to strike her, perhaps even on accident. It was a rock of some kind, something she'd never seen before, but she threw out a Pokeball all the same, if only to avoid being hit by a rock bigger than her head.

Narrowly avoiding getting hit by a rock that was bigger than her head, Yuina continued on through the safari zone. Again her phone buzzed, it seemed the girls were rather chit chatty today, one of them had a picture of a very nice and very delicious looking cake they had just purchased. Yuina smiled, how simple the little things were that could make everyone happy and excited. Little wonders all around.[break][break]
She nearly tripped though as a Trapinch waddled into the path, and she dropped one of the Pokeballs that she held in hand with her phone... That's what she got for trying to watch Pokémon and her phone at the same time as the sphere fell on the Trapinch and looked to enclose it for capture.

Again her phone went off, another set of messages from the girls about their days and how they were doing, and Yuina couldn't help but smile with pride at how wonderful the whole group was. Encouraging, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful, every single one of them. She was rather lucky, fortunate even, to be surrounded by such amazing women.[break][break]
It was just about time to head back, she'd gone about far enough and at least aside from maybe the purple bat she'd found, nothing seemed amiss or out of the ordinary. In fact, as Yuina turned back around, a small seal came up from the water, barking and clapping its fins, and to share in its delight and offer of friendship, Yuina offered it the last safari Pokeball that she had to come along with her before she left.
