The SAFARI ZONE at the cusp of Fall was a sight to behold. The crown prince could almost see the leaves turning as he walked through the forest this beautiful crisp morning. At his flank. EARL GREY dutifully hovered along.[break][break]

The quiet and serene peace that hung above this territory today would surely be broken before long, however. The Pokemon were beginning to stir awake in their dens, burrows, tree holes, and caves. The rustling in the bushes nearby was Remiel’s first indication of activity.[break][break]

The TREECKO detects them first and takes offense to the pair strolling into its territory. When it leaps down from the branch to try and SLAM the Sinistea into the ground, however, it finds its assault wholly ineffective. It tries to recover once touching ground, but Earl Grey wastes no time in bashing it with a DRAGON HAMMER.[break][break]

When the dust clears, Remiel finds the little lizard unconscious. He pulls a Luxury Ball out from his pack and casts it, capturing the Treecko in a flash of golden light. "Let's keep moving."[break][break]

The TORCHIC grants itself a SPEED BOOST as it FLAME CHARGES towards them. The butler Sinistea is forced to PROTECT itself and his master from the ferocious little bird, watching as it strikes a semi-transparent barrier instead. It bounces backward, knocking itself on its rear before confusedly shaking its head.[break][break]

Earl Grey, of course, takes this opportunity to smack it down with a DRAGON HAMMER. And Remiel, after pulling out a Luxury Ball from his pack, captures it in a flash of golden light.[break][break]

The MUDKIP makes its presence known with a ROCK THROW first. It passes straight through Earl Grey harmlessly before the little teacup endeavors to chase it away. A GIGA DRAIN nearly reels it backward, too, but it manages to escape.[break][break]

The NUMEL they pass stares at them blankly, slowly chewing on some grass in its mouth. These creatures weren’t typically aggressive, and this one was no exception. Though Remiel had heard of the destruction they could cause on accident anyway.[BREAK][BREAK]

Just to be safe, the royal and his Sinistea would grant the Numel a wide berth as they passed it. They’d much rather not be blamed for setting the Safari Zone on fire by accident.[BREAK][BREAK]

As they attempt to cross a river, hopping precariously from one stone to another, an oddly colored CARVANHA seeks to interrupt them. It leaps out from the water as a mass of snapping teeth. Remiel narrowly avoids it by leaning backward, but nearly takes a tumble into the river's rushing water as well.[BREAK][BREAK]

Thankfully, Earl Grey is there to GIGA DRAIN the piranha before it tries again. Then, with his ghostly telekinesis, the butler yanks the unconscious fish out from the water and toward the river bank. It is there where Remiel pulls out a Luxury Ball and captures it.[break][break]

They notice it's bare eye first. It's hiding in the bushes; stalking them. But the rest of its body is concealed by the many leaves surrounding it.[break][break]

Then, without warning, it launches itself at them with a ZEN HEADBUTT. Thankfully, Earl Grey PROTECTS its master before GIGA DRAINING the aggressive little golem. As it falters in a weakened state, Remiel takes that opportunity to try and capture it within the confines of a thrown ball.[break][break]
