Petalburg Plateau was indeed one of the most bizarre places in Hoenn. The number of Pokémon that seemingly beckoned visitors aboard, let alone how many wildly unusual ones there were, was bound to leave visitors in awe. "Yep!" Shalin chirped back as Serena, a Persian that was also large for her kind, zoomed toward the ranger and officer. Were she to allow it, the cream-colored cat would nuzzle her on her good side and purr, perhaps making Miyako Noguchi 's hair stand on end from how powerful her motor was.

There were even giant insect Pokémon fluttering around, equipped to give trainers a lift into the sky. A Volcarona, Yanmega, Scyther, and even a Shiny Beedrill buzzed overhead, a Frosmoth fluttering behind them. "When I said I was Hoenn's wildest Pokémon rider, I wasn't kidding!" she bragged, her Sygna Suit glowing a faint green in the presence of her Venusaur and Flygon, extending a vine and a wing as to beckon one or both of them aboard.

Understandably, Miyako didn't seem too keen to hop onto any of them. She seemed to still be recovering from Jiwari's thrashing, the Tyranitar also visible in the distance. Shalin gently touched her Flygon's extended wing. "As daring as she is, I don't think you're convincing her to do that without a Sygna Suit, heh," she laughed before walking toward Saria and turning back toward her friend. "Not on foot, but she has... a different way of being speedy." Both of their green glows became slightly brighter as the Captain straddled the giant vine, letting the Venusaur seat her on the end of it!

"Such is the power of a Sygna Suit honed to its peak," Shalin proudly continued, Saria gently waving the extended vine about. "She herself may not be fast, but her Vine Whip... is." As if on cue, the grass-type extended her second, equally long and large vine outward. She would have to share this experience with Miyako when she was completely healed. For now, though, she would need something a little more... gentle. She wasn't certain, though; maybe Miyako was feeling better than she let on!

It was as crazy as Shalin made it sound. She wasn't just anywhere on the Venusaur that was one and a half stories tall. She was on the bulge supporting the cutting edge. The tip wasn't sharp, but it didn't need to be. When the Captain wore her Venusaur Sygna Suit, she herself could rend flesh with the speed the vine flung and flicked her at.

"Yup!" Shalin met Miyako's gaping mouth with the biggest grin she had seen from her. "Without a Sygna Suit, there's pretty strict limits on how fast it can get, though!" Not for the Venusaur, but for the vine's passenger. Saria's Power Whip really stung to be hit by. The pulse powering that action was more than capable of snapping a would-be rider's spine in two without the suit's protection. "Of course! I'll save the finale for when you've had your fill. It's still gonna be fast, though! Hold on tight!"

Once both Shalin and Miyako were aboard, Saria snaked her vines back and forth to let Miyako get used to them. Were she to feel the officer's hold become more confident, the real show would begin. The Venusaur began whirling her vine in a circle, much like a carnival ride but faster. At the bottom of each loop came a flick of each vine's tip. Shalin let out a hoot as she absorbed the jerking motion, wondering how Miyako was handling it. To her, even this relatively light motion might have felt like being lashed around!

The foul language from Miyako's mouth was a sign that each flick of the vine was overwhelming for her. While it wasn't particularly fast at the top of the loop, the bottom was a whole different experience. Gravity and momentum worked together to produce the jerking motion that prompted the mixed emotions. Sensing that she may have been struggling, Saria stopped her rhythmic pivots, the Vine Whip moving more like a swing as it slowed. "That's why the Sygna Suit's needed for her full potential!" Shalin smiled, barely any energy taken out of her.

The Venusaur would drop Miyako off on top of her flower, giving her a good look at that full potential Shalin described. With a mighty swivel and a green glow that grew in brightness, Saria sent a wicked pulse easily Shalin's size down the vine her trainer was sitting on the end of. If Miyako was familiar with the species, she knew that when the pulse reached the end, it was going to make quite a loud noise!

As the pulse reached the end of the vine, it and Shalin's Sygna Suit flashed a brilliant green. A heaven-rending snapping noise pierced the air, causing small bird Pokémon in the vicinity to fly away in fright. In the blink of an eye, the suited passenger had been flung in a circle too fast to see, the windblast turning her exposed skin a white-red from the supersonic flick. The entire vine shook from the recoil of the POWER WHIP, twirling at maddening speeds on just its momentum. As it slowed to visible speeds, the bright glow dimming, Miyako would be able to see that Shalin was somehow still clinging to the vine's end, even after the gigantic lash.

And she looked delirious. As blissful as could be until the adrenaline wore off.

Letting the momentum die completely, Shalin sat on the still but floating vine as she tilted her disoriented body toward Miyako. "And that's what a Sygna Suit will let you withstand," she huffed, still catching her breath from the fastest rush any of her Pokémon could muster. "But that should answer your question on whether a Venusaur is fast!" With a giggle and a second wind, Shalin slid off the vine, Saria tromping back to the edge of the woods.

Shalin didn't want to overwhelm Miyako with a flood of answers, particularly when she was still a little woozy from the incredible Infinity Energy her suit demanded in order to keep her in place during her momentaty supersonic flight. "It's... been a long road refining it, and my own skill with it, I'll say that much," she exhaled, Jiwari the Tyranitar tromping over and waving toward Miyako in greeting.

Shalin returned a weak smile in the wake of Miyako's enthusiasm. "Not in the real world, as without the Sygna Suit, you'd be torn apart from how fast the vine moves," she did her best to explain. "But I do have a workaround. How familiar are you with the RKS Simulation?"
