Meteor Falls at nights is a sight that should be common to Cass by now. However, for some reason, she's ... ... she simply couldn't sleep, and decided to take a little walk, and now. "Where the hell am I?" she whispers under her breath, looking around with uncertainty. It almost felt like she's been guided ... "Hey, Sona, don't stray too far-!" she calls out as she sees her Tinkatuff running ahead, towards- another person? At this point, she not only hopes they're not hostile, but also real.

Well, he knew he was at Meteor Falls, but other than that, he wasn’t a hundred percent sure where he was. Usually he would just use Sora to fly them up to get their bearings, but night had long since fallen. Calling his friend was also out since he had forgotten his phone back at their place, something he was sure to get a lecture about from his friend when he got back.

Oh well, he supposed he would just try and figure his way out of here somehow; however, before he could get far, he heard. Nervous, he looked around before spotting two shapes a bit away from him, and one was getting closer. Once it was close enough, he noticed the shape resembled a Pokémon and, after looking again, realized the other shape looked human.

The skepticism lingers for a moment longer on Cass' face regarding that they're currently in the spooky season, but the other person looked real enough. And well, Sona has already walked up to them in a friendly manner. "Hi! Any chance you might know where we are?" she asks, deciding that asking are you real might be, frankly, too real of a question for now. "I think we got a bit lost, and it's ... a bit spooky."

She believes to hear whisperings in draconid, and perhaps some spirits that seem interested in Sona as she moves around as if she owns the place. Indeed, curiously, she seems to follow her hammer here, and already has moved on with a hint of impatience, seemingly having an actually clear goal in mind. "... do you also see ... those ghostly dragon types?" she asks the stranger, unsure. And she's not talking about Dreepy or the like.

Being a Pokémon lover, he was sorely tempted to give the woman’s Pokémon some pets. It took reminding himself that it wasn’t his Pokémon for him to hold off on doing just that; instead, he just settled for a wave to show he was harmless. The young woman speaking up after he had initially spoken would draw his attention back to the woman.

“Me-Meteor Falls, unfortunately I only kn-know that because I’ve been since be-before th-the sun went down,” he admitted apologetically. He felt really bad that he couldn’t give her mother more than that, especially since she admitted to being loose as well. That was unfortunate.

Snapping out of his thoughts, he could help but look around fearfully as she admitted to finding the place creepy. Before he could give his input on that, he blanched when she mentioned seeing ghostly dragon types. Swallowing nervously, he looked in the direction he figured she was looking in.

Sona returned the greeting with a wave of her own, stepping actually close enough to be in petting distance. Something in her eyes also twinkle slightly, as if inviting for a pet ... but quickly, something else also catches her attention, making her hurry towards another direction ...

Cass in the meanwhile looks at the other with a lopsided smile, "So we're both lost, yeay ... it does have something very draconic," she remarks, before she turns to see where Sona is going - and indeed, she seems to seek to get closer into these ruins. Fantastic. In addition to that, there's ... definitely dragon ghosts, now that the man also has seen them.

"Oh fu- Sona, stop right there!" she calls as she goes for a run, and ... actually trips over air. She manages to catch herself somewhat, but she does still fly a couple of steps, enough to catch up with Sona standing at the entrance of something. Inside, she believes to see something shimmering in that cave or tunnel ahead ... runes of dragons.

He was about to give into his desire to pet the Pokémon when something seemed to catch the attention of the Pokémon, and she moved away from him. Before he decided what to do, the woman spoke up again, and it took everything in him not to wince. Yeah, it really wasn’t good that they were both lost.

“S-Sorry I’m not always the best with directions,” he mumbled, looking away. It was why he often used the map on his phone. He might not always be the best with directions when it came to himself, but he could read a map. Unfortunately, he had forgotten his phone at home.

Mentally shaking himself, he nodded. Hopefully they could get their bearings soon. Speaking of perhaps they could look up where exactly they were, that was if the teen had a phone on her. He was just about to ask when she let out an exclamation and hurried after her Pokémon.

He didn’t immediately follow, only following after her near fall. “Are you okay?” he asked once he had caught up.

While he awaited her response, he took the time to look around. Seeing a shimmering in the tunnel ahead of them, he squinted as if that would make whatever they were seeing easier to see.

Cass shakes her head, "No, I get it." Though she does have her phone, she would not turn off location tracking right now, so she simply leaves it in her pocket. However, it seems like there might be something further ahead ... only proven further by her unexpected stumble.

"H- Yeah, barely," she replies, clicking her tongue in annoyance as she squints at the patch of land that she tripped over. "Just feel like there's someone playing pranks, kinda." Or it's a warning of some kind ... or an invitation further down as the tunnel seems to hold something. And as the other doesn't seem opposed to seeing what's up, Cass nods.

"Let's go!" she whispers, though their steps seem to be echoing as soon as they step in further. The Draconic runes alight, and while they seem mesmerizing at first, their glow takes a darker hue soon. And suddenly, they're ambushed - ghostly spirits of dragons appear, seemingly being the light coming out of the runes, as they find themselves in near-darkness.

"A trap-?!" Cass shouts, trying to turn towards where she thinks Beckett is. Sona in the meanwhile yelps with surprise, before focusing on her hammer, letting out a roar - and using Dragon Hammer.

It was a relief to hear she was okay. Just because she had caught herself before she really fell didn’t mean she didn’t hurt her ankle. So knowing she hadn’t somehow twisted her ankle was good to hear. Still, he would keep a close eye on her, especially if what she was saying was true.

“Yeah, hope-hopefully it won’t cause ei-either of us to get hurt,” he said, his expression worried. He really hated to see people hurt. It had never been something he had the stomach for, even when it came to movies. It just filled him with so much worry that it made his stomach churn.

When she agreed to check out what was making the light, he nodded and followed after her, hoping he looked braver than he felt. Bravery was something he struggled with. Well sometimes. Other times he didn’t struggle with it only because he acted rashly, which wouldn’t happen unless he felt his new companion was in danger.

He flinched slightly when they suddenly found themselves surrounded. Swallowing nervously, he ran his hands over his pokeballs, pausing to hover over one. Nervously biting his lip, he finally sent out one of his Pokémon, a charizard appearing in a ball of light.

Seeing the dragon ghost Pokémon Ignis would immediately use Dragon Breath in the hopes of driving them back. That is, if it actually had any affect. Would normal moves even affect ghosts?[break] Cassandra Kubrick
