Hideo didn't let the snickering get to him; he'd probably do the same if he was on the other side of the camera. Forced as it may be, he had to be positive about what he was doing - and it wasn't far off from what he was doing as a Gym Leader.

"Mostly for Rangers and Leaguers," Hideo answered, "but civilians are probably gonna find them too. Better they at least know what to do if they find them."

He sure as heck knew he'd be doing this even if he wasn't a Gym Leader; someone had to get the information around.

And Uxie seemed to agree with his words, nodding along and offering a thumbs-up.

The sound of a chain could be heard clanking in the distance, growing ever closer. Hideo's Pheremosa perked up, raising from its slouch and turning towards the sound.

"And, uh, what the consequences could be. Gotta make sure they're ready for retaliation for breaking the Lousy Three's statues."

"Get ready to roll, Nosey."

Although he'd ordered his Rotom to roll, there was still a quick moment before it began. "I can keep you out of frame, if you want," he offered. "Just show Reiner fighting alongside Mona." He didn't want to push her into this if she wasn't comfortable - though it would be hard to show a fight without her Pokemon popping in frame.

And he trusted Uxie would keep the Rotomdex from pulling a wrong shot.

He could feel a wave of anxiety wash through him - and to be honest, that wasn't all from Mesprit. Ever since Cassandra Kubrick told him of Eris's attempt to use the chain on the Loyal Three, he'd realized they were a far more considerable threat even outside of that spaceship they'd all been jailed on. Corrupting the Red Chain was too big a risk, and they stood to lose much if one of the Lake Trio was taken again.

Taking down the Loyal Three was a top priority.

(And Uxie still bore a grudge for what they did to Azelf).

Just as the recording started again, a Toxic Chain shot out towards the group - and the Pheromosa was quick to intercept it, a High Jump Kick knocking it straight back to its source. The Okidogi walked into frame, a sneer on its face.

"Looks like we got Okidogi here," Hideo said, trying to re-adopt the confident voice he'd started with - but it was still tinged with that anxiety he'd been given a moment ago. "This was the one that watched over the cell block I was in. It went around beating people up…and it's still up to no good."

"So let's show'em how we deal with bullies, Mona!"

The Pheromosa sighed; it cared not for these theatrics.

The Dog and the Cockroach stared the other down, sizing each other up.

Giving Hideo a chance for some commentary facing towards the Rotomdex.

"So, Okidogi is a Poison Type, but it's also a Fighting Type. Which makes sense, 'cause when it was running my jail block, it was beating people up. Not the best matchup for a Pheremosa, but they're a tough one."

A timely Springtide Storm flew from off screen, striking the distracted Okidogi. The attack clearly hurt, but it was far from down, looking towards the source - and sneering at the poor condition of its attacker.

"But they don't have to fight this alone! And don't ever try to fight them solo, 'cause they don't play fair!"

Though a Double Kick to the face drew its attention to its closer, healthier opponent, the Phermosa before it taking a cheap shot.

"Which means we don't play fair either!"

The fight between the Okidogi and Pheremosa began in earnest; chain met leg as the two fighters struck at each other, neither managing to land a decisive blow; the Pheremosa's speed kept her from taking any heavy blows, but the Okidogi's strength and durability meant her attacks didn't do much.

It was Reiner's attacks that helped tilt things in their favor. A quick warning from Uxie ensured the Pheremosa wasn't also caught in the Rising Voltage, the Okidogi shocked in an almost comical manner, completely covered in electricity.

But it was that point that the Okidogi realized who was doing the most harm - and rushed towards the kids and their Pokemon. Hideo didn't get a chance to give any commentary, as his Rotomdex was screaming in fear, staring straight at the Okidogi that was right up on them.

A Brutal Swing from its chains was meant for the kids and Reiner - yet a Mystical Power intercepted the attack, a beam of energy striking it from off-screen - courtesy of a rather-displeased-looking Uxie.

Had Uxie possessed a middle finger, this would've been the point that it was presented.

"L-like I said, the Lousy Three don't play fair."

As confident as Hideo was in with the strength of his Pokemon, it was hard to push down memories of that time under Okidogi's fist.

It was awkward for the Rotomdex to keep the Okidogi in view, while also keeping Uxie and Mesprit out of frame. It didn't help that the Rotom in said Rotomdex very much wanted to get out of chain distance - but Uxie made sure it didn't move much by holding it in the air.

Uxie wanted people to learn, and the Rotomdex had to stick around for that.

Though Hideo was soon pulled behind frame as well, courtesy of Eris - which, to be fair, he would've already done had he not been preoccupied with his presentation.

Just hearing the chain swing was enough to get him tense, to make that sweat start to build upon his brow.

It would be clear that the Pixies' attacks were the ones having the most effect on the Okidogi, though Reiner was also contributing in pushing the dog back.

But Eris's threat only brought a grin to Okidogi's face, the dog letting out a whistle - and the purpose for that became clear very quickly, for the moment Hideo's Pheromosa tried to rush it from behind, a set of chains flew out from the forest.

The Pheromosa kicked them away, but the source soon revealed itself; a Quagsire, who had a Toxic Chain wrapped around its large body.

And Hideo nearly jumped when he heard a Toxic Chain collide with Uxie's Mystical Power, striking right behind him - this time, a Toxic Chained Scyther being the source.

The Okidogi smugly looked at Eris, as if to mock her words.
