JCINK OR PROBOARDS? We're currently deliberating upon this potential move to the Jcink platform. Jcink has several tools that allow for automation of staffwork. The first Combee had been nice. A pleasant surprise. It had gotten the attention of many a worker present and generally lifted the spirits of those not tired enough to ignore it amongst the toils of labor. Its gentle buzz cut through the blaring radios and granted a few lucky workers with even a moment of temporary shade. A few took pictures, even.

The second Combee brought along the scent of sickeningly sweet nectar. A few laughs echoed throughout the jungle of two-by-fours. It's weird that it happened twice. However, the amusement of the situation fell off twice as fast.

The third Combee came, and all it earned was a few confused glances and a mutterance of everything coming in threes.

They were unamused with the fourth Combee, though. And then the fifth caught raised eyebrows. The sixth was greeted with calls to the local police and rangers. The seventh made everyone wary.

The eight sent everyone home, as the eight brought six more with it. Especially when they started stinging everyone unfortunate enough to be without their Pokemon belts or safe cover.

"I still don't understand why we drew straws for this task," Grigori pushed the dumpster out of the way. Sure enough, their freshly constructed skyscraper had a buzz emanating from the Combee-shaped hole in the foundation. The contractors had asked for a big, spacious basement, and they had certainly complied.

"Or why you are tagging along, Mr... do you still prefer Quinn?"

"Why wouldn't I still be 'Quinn'?' Death pouted, looking over at Grigori Sokolov from where he had been squinting into the depths of the hole to no avail. His weird, golden eyes glowed faintly in the low light. He looked like a walking corpse.[break][break]

But Tempest just scratched his cheek and glanced back into the hole. He didn't want to tell Grigori that he had come along to avoid the weird, tense atmosphere in his house. Cillian Quinn hadn't been acting quite the same since he had come back.[break][break]

"Do you think if we just hop in there that they'll just start swarming us?" Temp made some wavy movements with his hands to simulate the 'swarming'. "Do you think they would sting us in the ass?... the dick?"[break][break]

Despite being the Avatar of death personified, Grigori attempted to glare the avatar back into it anyway. “You remind me of another Avatar, and not in a good way. And yes, they will start swarming us immediately. Unless you possess an army of your own hive to attempt diplomacy or to block their entire swarm.”

Thankfully, he did not suspect they would be able to or have to squash this nest immediately. They were only two people; even the divine must have their limits. Without waiting for Temp’s approval or offer to lead the way, the grunt crouched down and pushed into the hole.

And… yes, this was the nest alright. Somehow, the Combee had taken up more real estate in a different part of the building. But there were plenty in the basement regardless. None of the hexagonal Pokémon saw him, and he quickly dove into the safety of cover.

A few dozen Combee buzzed the wall opposite of them, next to yet another entrance. The thick smell of honey choked Grigori, and he shoved his nose under his shirt. Even he had his sweet limit.

“We will be incapable of neutralizing the threat without collapsing the building… likely a hundred or so Combee elsewhere… What do you recommend, Mr. Quinn?”
