Who thought to wander in the night might be a wise decision? But it happened so often in this month alone, Morrighan almost feels herself accustomed to the darkness that engulfs her, with only so much light to guide her. Yet, she should be careful, for this trek seems to be fairly steep - a shortcut from Mt. Pyre down to Mauville City where she intends to rest, though it seems that her plans should have needed more careful planning than a fancy on a whim.[break]

But here she is, and here they go. A dark robe conceals her normally-pompous, elegant clothing that seems to be from ages of old as her white-blue hair catches onto the moonlight's rays, solitude accompanied by another, for as the moon shines bright, she finds little comfort in the stars that are outshone by the luminescent brilliance in the sky. But ... in a way, that is what she is more familiar with, too.[break]

Morrighan exhales into the frosting air, small clouds of white mist forming right in front of her as she is careful to take one step after the other, not to be hasty when it comes to the descent. Yet ... caution might be the last thing to worry about as she sees a ghostly figure in the distance, glowing brightly - throwing her right back to when she witnessed beast-shaped violence burst into light, but this looks much more ... gentle, almost. Lost.[break]

A ... a child?[break]

And she halts, words lost as a ghastly song awakens in the sky, darkness descending in discordant tones. The counter strikes, four.
