An Ariados leaps down from the trees, glaring at the Scizor, who was left disappointed by the last battle. The arachnid looked to be particularly strong, something that the armored insect welcomed with a grin. The Ariados and Scizor both prepared for battle with a Swords Dance. The Ariados attempted to throw the Scizor off by stretching out his shadow out to the Scizor, in order to attack him.

Ripper, throwing a Bullet Punch towards the Ariados, managed to dodge the oncoming Shadow Sneak, and strike the spider with a harsh Bullet Punch. The impact of his pincer caused the Ariados to be launched back at a considerable distance. Despite this, the Ariados wasn't down for the count. Taking a moment to increase his Agility, the Ariados Lunged at the Scizor, smashing into the Scizor.

Ripper, despite being caught off guard by the sudden Lunge, managed to retaliate with a Brutal Swing, this time knocking out the arachnid. Thomas threw a Sports Ball at the Ariados.

"That one's a keeper.", mused Thomas out loud. Ripper nodded in agreement, satisfied with the battle.

A Caterpie descends down from the trees, ensnaring Ripper in String Shot. The Scizor struggled against the silk that bound his arms together. Taking advantage of the element of surprise, the Caterpie blasted the Clawitzer in Sleep Powder, knocking out the sniper. But before he could turn his attention to taking out the Hydreigon, the dragon turned his sights on him, blasting him with a Flamethrower. The Caterpie's attempt at shooting the dragon with a Psybeam was laughable.

Kalameet took the Psybeam, being unfazed by the attack. The Caterpie could only cry out in pain as the flames consumed him. In the aftermath, the Caterpie survived the attack, struggling for life, but still could be saved upon arrival at the Pokecenter. Thomas tossed a Sports Ball at the Caterpie, while Ripper finally broke out of the silk.

A Skorupi raced towards the sleeping Clawitzer, intent on striking down the downed creature with a Night Slash, and claiming a free meal. Kalameet, who spotted the scorpion, was having none of it, and blasted the Skorupi with a Flamethrower. The Skorupi cried out and flailed as the flames burned its body up. By the time it was over, the Skorupi dropped down, losing consciousness. Thomas threw a Sports Ball at the Skorupi, and went to check on Colt, waiting to see when he'd rouse from his slumber.

Spying his natural enemy, a Pinsir cried out to the tall Scizor, who turned to face the Pinsir. The Scizor stared the creature down, and with a grin, gestured the Pinsir to come at him. Immediately, the Pinsir lunged at the Scizor, before attempting to grab at his midsection with his horns, intent on giving the insect a good Storm Throw. Ripper leaped out of the way at the last moment, and slugged the Pinsir with a well-placed Bullet Punch.

Grunting in anger, the Pinsir delivered a Feint Attack to the Scizor, striking it in the midsection, and causing it to skid back a few feet. Ripper, grinning at his opponent, attempted to launch a Brutal Swing at the Pinsir's head, only for the Pinsir to dodge the attack. The Pinsir would perform a Swords Dance, with Ripper following in his lead, both combatants boosting their strength.

The Pinsir took the opportunity to grab the Scizor by his waist, and toss him around with a harsh Storm Throw. The attack caused the Scizor to land in manner most painful to even the armored insect. As he struggled to get up, the Pinsir once again went in to attack his opponent, this time picking him up with the aim to finish him off with a Seismic Toss. But as the Pinsir grabbed him, Ripper retaliated by delivering a Bug Bite with his pincer, clamping down on the stag beetle harshly, and causing him to let go of Ripper, before blacking out.

"Good work, Ripper!", Thomas called out. Ripper let out a satisfied pincer pump, at a good fight. As Thomas tossed a Sports Ball at the downed Pinsir, Colt woke up from his nap. Upon seeing the shape Ripper was in, Colt fired off a Heal Pulse at his ally.

A Yanma lets out a Screech through the area, causing Thomas, Ripper, and Kalameet to grip their ears. Colt can only look on in with an annoyed grimace as the Yanma screeches. Having enough, Colt fires off a Water Pulse at the Yanma, hoping to shut it up. The Yanma Detects the oncoming blast of water, and manages to dodge the attack swiftly.

The Yanma attempted to unleash an Ancient Power, firing a volley of rocks at the Clawitzer. In response, Colt manages to dash out of the way of the oncoming rocks with Aqua Jet. While the Yanma attempts to get a lock on his target, Kalameet, having regained his bearings, blasts the Yanma with a Flamethrower, causing the dragonfly to drop to the ground quickly.

Thomas tosses a Sports Ball at the falling creature.

A Surskit comes dashing towards the group with an Aqua Jet, transitioning into a Lunge at the Hydreigon. Ripper intercepts with Bullet Punch, taking the attack. While the attack didn't hurt him much, thanks to his armor providing him adequate protection, the Lunge still managed to throw him off. But rather than give up, Ripper would attempt to retaliate with a Bug Bite, only for the Surskit to Aqua Jet out of the way of the attack.

Once again, the Surskit would attempt to Lunge at the Scizor. This time, Ripper was ready, sidestepping the attack just in time. In response, he delivered a Bullet Punch of his own, followed up by a Bug Bite. Despite his strength being thrown off, the combination attack was enough to weaken the Surskit considerably, to the point where Thomas was comfortable with throwing a Sports Ball at it.
