Adam took a few steps away from Siren, stretching out his arms as he did so. ”I think we’re near Mauville.” He stated, looking in the direction where the city would lie. ”Huh?” The sandy ground beneath his feet began to shift, Adam’s body beginning to rise up.

He hopped back to avoid losing his balance and landing on his ass, watching as something rose from the ground. A smile grew on his face as it was revealed that he had been standing on top of a Camerupt that was taking a nap beneath the sand.

”Sorry for waking you up big guy.” Adam apologized. The Pokémon let out an annoyed grunt and wandered off.

With that distraction out of the way it was time to get moving. ”Let’s make our way to Mauville, check out the shops and see if we can find something nice.” Adam spoke, turning around to head over to his Noivern. ”Hmm?!” Siren was rustling about, biting at something that was out of Adam’s sight.

”What’s wrong, girl?” He rushed over to his Noivern to see that there was a Torracat clawing at one of the bags strapped to Siren. Adam laughed at the sight as Siren spun around to try and catch the little feline. ”Let’s just give him what he wants.” He said, knowing what was in that bag.

Sire stopped moving about after creating some space between her and the Torracat. While she just wanted to blast the annoying fire type she heeded her trainer’s words and waited. ”Here’s what you want~” Adam pulled out a bag of snacks, walking over to the Torracat and giving the Pokémon some.

”Alright there ya go little buddy.” He’d wave the cat off as it wandered on. ”Now let’s get moving.” As he was about to hop onto the dragon’s back he looked up to the skies. ”Glad we decided to go for a fly. It’s been blue skies all day! Not a problem in sight.”

Abruptly Siren jumped, almost flinging Adam off of her as he was climbing up. ”Arceus, fuck!” He cursed, regaining his balance as Siren calmed down. ”What was that about?” What Adam hadn’t noticed was a rather testy Charmeleon who had fired an attack at Siren. Adam smiled, what a cheeky little shit thinking it can step up to Siren.

”Do you want to deal with this?” He stepped away from the dragon, smirking at the clearly annoyed look on her face. They both knew that she would annihilate this little fire lizard, the only one that didn’t know was the lizard itself.

The Charmeleon let out a roar, spewing flames from its mouth. Siren clearly wasn’t impressed with the display and the Charmeleon took offense to that, firing off a Dragon Rage at the Noivern. The attack was easily destroyed by Siren’s Air Slash, the move going through the Dragon Rage and hitting the Charmeleon.

”Huh well look at that, didn’t expect it to get back up.” Adam scoffed as the fire type got back up. Pissed, the fiery iguana used Inferno which was a surprise to Adam as it was a strong move he didn’t see coming.

Siren flew up in the air, barely avoiding the flames, and countering back with a Hurricane attack. And while the Charmeleon might have been tougher than Adam thought it wasn’t getting back up after taking one of those to the chest.

”Alright and let’s wrap this up in a nice bow.” Adam threw an empty pokeball at the Charmeleon in an attempt to capture it. With this fiasco over with they could get out of here and go relax.
