[attr="class","merkI"] This was it. The day she had been waiting for! A day to show off the times of knights, kings, and queens! Of royal valiant steeds who helped trainers on noble quests across the lands! It felt almost homey if she was being honest. Galar was always full of tales of great knights, it was part of their history! To see that celebrated here all the way in the Hoenn region really made her feel perfectly at home here. Even amongst the city where the buildings were so expertly woven into the trees themselves, it just felt really touching. Of course, she had to be a part of it. What would she tell her parents back home if she didn't take place in the renaissance fair? Why it was an opportunity she simply couldn't refuse! It took a little bit of work getting everything set up, but by the end, she had a rather cute little tower constructed out of some cheap wood she had managed to scrape together. It wasn't extremely tall, but good enough to get the idea of the intent across! Today, she was part of a game. "Yes, you have to wear the wings, Whisper." She spoke softly to her Hatterene, standing rather indignantly near the tower. "You're the ferocious dragon! Keeping the princess, me, locked away in the tower! You have to protect me." As soon as she said the word protect, Whisper's frustrated expression slowly turned into one of determination. She didn't appreciate the noises from all around them, people chatting all over, the swords clanging in the distance, but her protective instincts came before all of that. Ruby immediately grinned, giving her the witch pokemon a hug before climbing into her tower slowly. Her cute little dress and tiara atop her head were clearly royal material, without a doubt. Or at least, for a costume, anyway. The day went on, the "desperate" calls and pleas for help, rescue from the terrifying "dragon" echoed outwards. Of course, it was all a game, but that didn't stop a few passionate individuals challenging Whisper head-on, only to immediately get smacked with the fist upon their hat. Laughter would echo around them with every failed attempt, people gently teasing each other good-naturedly. Overall, even Whisper seemed pleased despite the loud sounds. Almost as if the excuse for the violence was therapeutic in a way for her. A few people attempted to use their own Pokemon, but even the flying types so popular in this area seemed struggle against the close and longer range strength of Whispers attacks. "Oh, woe is me!" Ruby cried out a bit overdramatically, fighting incredibly hard to stop herself from giggling and failing anyways. The day had only begun, and she was incredibly excited to see just what the day had in store! "Will anyone be able to rescue me from the dragon? I'm so hungryyy!" notes: Mission Link [newclass=.merkI] width: 330px; font-family: 'Trebuchet MS'; font-size: 11px; text-align: justify; color: #a3a3a3; padding: 20px; line-height: 12pt; margin-top: -10px; [/newclass] [newclass=.merkI b] color: #B8D9EC; font-size: 12px; [/newclass] [newclass=.merktagI] text-align:right; [/newclass] [newclass=.merktagI a] background: #2e2e2e; padding: 10px; border: 1px solid #252525; text-transform: uppercase!important; font-family: 'roboto'; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; color: #aaa; letter-spacing: 1px!important; [/newclass] [newclass=.merkpokesI] text-align:right; [/newclass] [newclass=.merkpokesI img] padding: 0px 5px 5px 0px; background: #2e2e2e; border: solid 1px #252525; [/newclass]
