"Whoa! Hey, that's enough of that!" Rex somehow managed to roar over the Exploud's yells, "You mind quieting-aagh!" A sudden burst of pain bubbled in the front of Rex's head as the Exploud tried to quiet down the loud presence. It was trying to bring cheer, you know!?

Vision blurry, Rex dug in his pockets and found an empty Pokemon, charging up to the Pokemon. "You're great, I'm human and ya did that!" He whooped as he crashed into it and, before it could yell more, tapped it on the forehead softly.

"Hey, unlucky Six!"

Rex wasn't the most thoughtful person alive, but even he didn't look over the mystery scarecrow. "And what are you?" He wondered out loud, squinting at it and flinching back when the eyes of the Pokemon shot towards him. [break][break]

His hand shot towards a Pokeball, but the Pokemon was smarter than than. A cloud of cotton suddenly filled the air, and it was gone next Rex could see. Well, at least it was gone...right?

Luckily for the garden, a certain serpent slept within the branches of the trees. A smack of mud woke the snake, who's eyes flashed a gold as he spotted the cheery Pokemon and what it was doing to Kaida's work. [break][break]

Ormr wasn't usually one to attack upon sight, nor one to attack a happy Pokemon, but he felt he had no choice. If he lingered, Kaida's work would be defiled, and this creature needed to learn a lesson! One Giga Drain was all it took, and the mudfish lumbered away with a slightly less happy demeanor. Ormr might have not known what to do if Kaida wasn't here. Freki was guarding another portion of the garden, so it was the human and serpent that faced down the steel ant. Kaida noted while its armor was sturdy and would surely turn Ormr's poison away, it was completely alone. A boon for them, but perhaps not in the way one would expect. She didn't see an easy defeat, she saw a recruit. [break][break]

The Durant hissed at the duo, only stopping as Kaida turned and stripped a berry off one of the less important bushes, noting in the corner of her eyes that the Durant froze. "Oh, so you're just hungry." She tossed the berry off-handingly, watching as the Durant darted after it. "Ormr? Is a new family better, odd one, but we can help it." Perhaps she too led a pack, but she would make sure they were all fed, every single one. [break][break]

As the Durant was distracted, she tossed a Pokeball after it. Svart is a good name, is it not?
