the dustox's approach had been quickly noticed by her pokemon before she had detected the subtle sounds of its flapping wings. her pokemon would pause in their random fluttering, hovering at her side as they eyed the approaching bug-type whom boasted a timid smile.
"A dustox," she said.
a look of delight had situated itself upon the woman's features as it grew closer, pausing only a short distance away as it greeted them in a strangely polite sort of way. it was an undeniably handsome specimen, its distinctively large antennae revealing its gender.
"hello," she said. "and who might you be?"
"dus," he drawled.
her own pokemon remain stationary, their gazes remaining fixed upon the bug-type. despite the unfamiliarity of the pokemon whom had sought to interact with the trio, they remained mostly relaxed; there was a friendly air about him, after all.
"curious, are you?"
the girl offered her hand, and the pokemon would approach to examine the slim appendage curiously. her fingertips would brush gently against his body as he grew closer, a hint of awe causing her eyes to grow round.
"you should join us," she said, jovial. "you'd fit in very well."
she gestured lightly with her hand, and her bug-types moved to circle the dustox, crooning softly as they did so. with their aid, the process of convincing such a creature proved simple, their presence and the noises produced alluring enough for the male to seriously consider the advantages of tagging along.
