The Safari Zone was nothing more than a huge habitat for many Pokemon and Kaida had to wonder one thing, why couldn't she be here more? The humidity would have to be something she planned for, but it was ultimately a small pet peeve. The two she brought with her seemed to enjoy the area too.

Hel darted ahead, sharp eyes scanning the treeline as she searched for something to pounce on. Behind her, Silk was meandering, teardrop eyes calmly enjoying the sights as he nudged Kaida's heels, informing her of his presence. Yes. This was a wonderful place to bring the majority of family.

Quite suddenly, Hel screeched and disappeared into the vegetation. She made a great deal of noise, so Kaida and Silk conserved their energy as they trotted through the covering leaves, waiting for their prey to be caught.

Hel suddenly shrieked, coming back into view as she sprang backwards, avoiding a great mass of black darkness. Something big stompted forward, emotionless eyes scanning the opponents that had come into view. In particular, the hissing Grovyle. It was the priority. [break][break]

The golem started forward much faster and Kaida pointed at it, "Silk! Beat it!" She yelled as Hel leapt over a Mega Punch, leading Silk into throwing himself at the golem in a Brutal Swing. A crack rang out and the Golett flew back, slamming into a tree as its golden eyes flickered and crackled. Its body refused to get up, one arm uselessly flailing as Kaida flung one Safari Ball at it. [break][break]

Waste not, want not. She'd have to find someone trustworthy for such a powerful specimen. Sorry Golett, you were joining the fight today.

Wandering the jungle-like environment yielded no more exciting results for a while longer. It couldn't have been too long a time, for Hel and Silk showed no signs of tiring, perhaps they were more inclined to enjoy the warmer environment? [break][break]

Whatever the reason, Kaida halted and took out one of the water bottles she lugged on her back. Hel circled a tree as she took a water break, licking her lips. Up above, a Farfetch'd glared and brandished its leak. It certainly looked ready to bash Hel, but Kaida had a feeling fighting it would lead to Hel eating it, so she whistled and called Hel over before she could act. "We're not eating them, if you need energy, use the sunlight." She commanded, leading them deeper into the zone.

Out and about, the soldiers marched. They marched and they marched, because the brass had decided that nothing was more glorious than getting stronger, more moves, more power. So. They. Marched. [break][break]

The brass stopped, and so they stopped. Shields were up, then down. Human. Pokemon. Human looked, then looked away. Lizard was looking at them, and hissed. [break][break]

A Charmander and the rest of its line were interesting creatures, despite the flame on their tails, they did not have to live in rocky outcrops outside of preference. Either learning quickly or having the instincts, the line managed to avoid harming the vegetation around them. [break][break]

Kaida noted that such sayings were completely true. A little fire lizard zipped through the trees, big bright eyes downwards until it bumped into Kaida's leg, surprisingly invisible until said contact. "Charmander...welcome, little one." Kaida spoke, and the Charmander's tail wagged. An overly trusting Pokemon, seemed to like humans, perhaps it was lonely? She figured she didn't even need to fight to capture it. [break][break]

"Your family isn't around?" The Charmander simply stared, as if confused...hatched alone? Kaida couldn't be certain, but if that were true, what a tough or smart little lizard. "No friends?" The staring eyes teared up slightly, sadly looking at both Silk and Hel resting behind Kaida. Well, her pack was certainly not meant to turn another away...besides, the scaly creatures appealed to her, it would fit right in. She jerked her head as she started walking, taking out a Pokeball, "Come on, then." [break][break]

She heard a chirp of happiness, and something nudged her Pokeball hand, trying to be caught.

An abundance of Pokemon swarmed about, especially the avian type. Even right now, Kaida spotted another Farfetch'd fluttering about, sword across its back. She didn't mind another Pokemon she didn't wish to catch, but she did wish that Hel didn't have to be so tempted. [break][break]

Before she could see the bird, Kaida whirled around and walked a different direction with no word. Hopefully they'd find her real desires soon.
