[attr="class","ithread"][attr="class,"brawler"]when the next spawn comes, iris doesn't give it time to attack first. she lunges at the vaporeon with FREEZE-DRY, her fist hitting the pokemon with a satisfying crackle of ice. the vaporeon rears its head, launching a HYDRO PUMP at her.

iris lands back-first in the water. immediately she moves to push herself up, fingers digging into the rocks below the surface. once more, she attack with FREEZE-DRY.

[attr="class","ithread"][attr="class,"brawler"]the next spawn appears further than she'd like, leaving her open to long-range attacks. with dodging out of the question, she charges towards the feraligatr with EXTREME SPEED. moments before the attack's due to land, the pokemon fights back with SUPERPOWER, knocking her back before she can cause any damage.

iris goes for a FREEZE-DRY, but is overpowered once more. despite the cluster of ice on its forearm, the pokemon seems unscathed. when she tries again, her attack follows up NO RETREAT, hopefully the boost to her stats will be enough to deliver a lethal blow.
