Bailey watched her dragon from one of the ridges, waiting for him to return to her side. “We gotta get moving,” she had no intention of staying here all day. The meteor falls brought back memories, but it was not a place to linger. When night came, this cavern would be bustling with wild pokemon and trouble.[break][break]

She knew from first-hand experience. How else had she caught a dragon of her own? The scaled dragon leaped up the ridge, kicking up dirt and rocks, as he easily scaled the steep incline. “See any old friends?” She asked, jokingly. He only shrugged.

It seemed like the blood garnered unwanted attention.[break][break]

Bailey watched the streaks of crimson dilute into the flowing streams of water, summoning the occupants to rise to the surface to investigate. From those depths came the Seadra. Its presence was enough to intimidate the other pokemon, who dispersed as it swam past them.[break][break]

“...Horsea evolves into that?” Bailey stared down at the outdated PokeDex that she had owned since she was a child.[break][break]

Kapow sniffed the air, catching the scent of the floating sea horse. “You want a fight?” He nodded. “Go for it.” What happened next was expected. He charged back to the waters and knocked the water-type straight from the rivers to the rocky ridges; if he lacked an advantage, he would create one for himself.[break][break]

Bailey watched the fight unfold. Blows were exchanged. Despite the success, the battle was far from one-sided. It was only when Kapow landed a solid hit that she chucked one of her empty pokeball capsules; it was time to expand her roster.
