June called out to her Boltund who had a bad habit of running off and then June having to go find him.

She wasn’t here to sightsee exactly, she was much more curious about the Pokémon that lived in this region and what she could find.

The cheeky little mutt of course didn’t listen and ran off out of sight. ”Alright then don’t come whining to me when you get into trouble.” And she was sure the moment that happened the Boltund would come running back to her.

So instead she focused on her surroundings. And there was nothing but nature, no Pokémon in sight and the quietness was nice. But it didn’t last long as she heard barking coming from a distance away which had to be Touma. She rolled her eyes and headed to the source of the sound.

”What the fuck is that?!” It was big, ugly, and looked like it wanted to make a snack out of the mutt barking at it. She was ready to jump out of her skin but upon further inspection, it was just a Pinsir, the realization calming her down.

”Oh that’s all it is…phew! Touma quit messing around with it before it decides to make you a snack.” The dog stopped barking and went back to his trainer’s side, this time not wandering off.

June scolded her Pokémon despite knowing full well that it was going in one ear and out the other. She wasn’t sure why she was wasting her breath.

Maybe it was that one in a million chance the Boltund will finally get the picture and listen to her. The theory was put to the test as a Mantine nearby made a splash as it jumped out of the water.

”Don’t you even think about it.” She glared down at the dog and much to her happy surprise he listened.

”Good.”

”Touma….back away….slowly.”

The other Pokémon they ran into before were easy enough to deal with but this one…well this one would definitely be a problem. It was a Volcarona and as long as they didn’t get in its way and walked away slowly they should be good.

Well that was along as her dumb mutt didn’t decide to attack the giant bug. But seeing his trainer back away the dog got the message and backed up as well and once they were a good distance away from the bug June calmed down.

”Alright let’s go home. I’m not trying to get killed by a bug.”
