tiamat sprinted down the hallways in a trance, trying to wrack her brain and remember where in the fuck she had just dropped in, in terms of the building plans they'd gone over in debriefing. in the meantime, her porygon-z recharged from it's hyper beam attack on her arm, still clinging onto her.[break][break]
right. east wall broken, crashed through the glass doors -- there were two stairways up here. one would be the emergency exit, which would be a left and straight in front of her, the other was the public stairway, which she'd just tried to destroy, and was situated a few paces behind her.[break][break]
tiamat turned around and screamed a fairly loud "FUCK" as she saw the stairs most definitely un-destroyed. goddamn it, there goes her primary objective. ugh. most likely, the emergency exit would lead to bottlenecking if taken by too many people, so the big problem was the public stairs.[break][break]
getting her priorities in check, tiamat decided to make a break for the league officials before anyone caught up to her. as for the entrances, however...[break][break]
"chad, block the main stairs! nic, block the emergency exit, string shot the door!"[break][break]
most doors in office buildings were wooden, plastic, or non-existent, for the sake of fire safety, if anything. however, with how gloriously modern this place was, they'd opted for glass offices. glass walls, plastic doors, glass partitions, glass everything. her job was amazingly easy as a result.[break][break]
her pokemon went off to their duties, with the gurdurr blocking the stairs through it's menacing size and ability to throw just about anything strewn around the emptied offices, and the beedrill covering and blocking off the emergency exit from inside with several layers of string shot.[break][break]
in the meantime, tiamat hurried through the office building, her right arm raised and pointing her newly-recharged porygon-z at anything that deigned to move. she knew the layout of the building-- she just needed to find wherever the hell the officials were.[break][break]
tiamat pressed into her ear as she warily made her way through the third floor.[break][break]
"requesting backup on third floor. i've made an entrance on the second floor stairs, and someone's broken into the third floor roof. third floor emergency exit is blocked away."

there was a lot if shit goin on. she needed to get to her next point as fast as she could. and with all the commotion going on right now, she could easily get lost here.

ducking her head, he’d hop up quickly running to cover while everything went down, and once she was out of sight she’d send out a sylveon, light screen stairs forming in a spiral to assist her up a few floors.

now to find the commissioner, and ignore whatever other hindrances show themselves.

the side of the league headquarters explodes in a cacophony of rubble, dust and glass and honestly? how barbaric. “seize control of the league hq” is apparently easily interpreted as “raze it where it stands”. already, the building is a monument to how thoroughly rocket intends to devastate the bedrock of the league. yet people are going to feel terribly, tragically absurd when rocket relocate to slateport and have a dreadful breeze through the entirety of the second floor.

destruction is awfully gauche, devdas thinks. at the very least, it provides an ample entrance.

opal teleports to the second floor and devdas with her. he steps over rubble, his feet light and careful. he is wearing new boots. his gardevoir follows patiently, with grace, and her face neutral. devdas is wincing. a voice is crackling in his ear.

“is this home renovation, poppet?” as he sees it, the building itself is valuable. built as a fortress it safeguards more than people – information. if someone else blows it to kingdom come and the boss comes knocking upset, devdas will be sure to point fingers. they did it, darling. i was absolutely powerless to stop their utter madness. for now, he presses down and replies to @names . “i’ll join you in a moment. third floor, you said?”

right on time. league personnel come into view and, with a snap of his own fingers, devdas’ gardevoir teleports again and takes him one floor above.

devdas lands with a crunch. there’s broken glass on the floor and a groan escapes him before he asks and moves. “has anyone found the commissioner?”

"Fucking hell."

There's more than enough fighters on the first floor. Is he going to give orders to Fernando Eliard Silph? Hell yeah, he's going to be giving the orders on his own turf.

"Silph! Ensure the structural integrity of the building!" There's no point in cutting the bastards off from Dahlia if the Rockets bring the roof down on all their heads. It's become clear that Team Rocket is more interested in Dahlia than preserving their numbers. "Arachne! Swords Dance, and then head off and intercept anyone who threatens the commissioner!" After her dance, the Ariados jumps onto the ceiling and scurries away. She runs past the fire and the smoke, ignored by the Rockets who think that she's one of theirs.

"Atlas. Take the elevator to the top floor. Don't start the flood until you get there." The Gigalith uses the earlier tailwind to travel to the remaining elevator. Ian overrides the emergency protocol with his council authorization and sends his Pokemon to the third floor, near where Dahlia's office should be.

Ian rummages through his leather bag. He will have to apologize to Malcolm about its condition later. He pulls out the Go-Goggles that were indispensable in the Northern Desert. And to anyone who planned to ride a Garchomp.

The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout. From there, she’s been watching her prey through the vents for about ten minutes. Her trainer isn’t here to tell her who is and isn’t acceptable prey, and she’s found the most delectable meal.

How could she resist?

The Ariados drops down and thrusts her front legs towards the Sylveon. Just one snack, and she can return to her trainer.

Ian steps into a hallway and takes out a Safari Ball. "Hera, to me!" A flash of light, a cloud of dust. A Garchomp emerges into the fight. He mounts the dragon, as uncomfortable as the ride will be. "We're going to the top floor, Hera. Anything that threatens the Commissioner is going down." The two of them tear through the Rocket grunts at super speeds, all the way to the atrium. The Garchomp's powerful legs sends them skyward, and her wings propel them onto the third floor. The fins tear through inanimate obstacles like they're butter, but she is denied flesh at this altitude. Ian directs her to the direction of Dahlia’s office.

A small pinging sound, and Atlas arrives to the third floor. He steps out and floods the entirety of the floor with sandstorm. What remains of nighttime visibility disappears, but not for the Garchomp. She travels through the sand as easily as her aerial cousins might traverse the skies. Ian slides off the Garchomp’s back to look for Dahlia.

Hera attempts to trap the Gurrdurr with Sand Tomb before slamming into him with Dragon Rush.

From the elevator, the Gigalith is only a few paces away from the emergency stairs. He uses Stone Edge against the Beedrill who was currently patching up the doorway.

• Ian tells FERNANDO SILPH to stop Rocket from toppling the building. Councilman's orders.
• Ian puts on Go-Goggles. Are they uncool? Hell yeah they’re uncool. You know what’s cool though? Safety is cool.
• Ariados uses Swords Dance before sneaking further into the building
• Ariados uses Poison Jab against marie jules ’s Sylveon
• Gigalith takes the elevator up to the third floor
• Gigalith uses Sandstorm on the entire floor to reduce visibility and Stone Edge on @names 's Beedrill.
• Gigalith's Sp. Def. is boosted by the sandstorm.
• Ian rides his flying ground shark to the third floor via the atrium. It is the worst ride ever, but she’s fast enough to get them near Dahlia’s office. He slides off to look for dahlia goode
• Garchomp uses Sand Tomb to trap @names 's Gurrdurr, followed by Dragon Rush
• Garchomp’s Sand Veil is currently active

the presence of @yiannis is enough to put zeke at relative ease, at least for a moment. he watches on in awe as the councilman blocks the entrance -- but not before silph bursts through to greet the enemies voraciously. the reunion is short-lived; zeke feels more needed inside than out. the building rumbles, its foundation impressive enough to withstand the attacks from above for now. there is a momentarily lapse in action just in front of him, enough to make zeke feel useless. suddenly ian is sending his pokemon off and moving on himself -- the first floor is fine enough. "i'll meet you up there." his words are directed at ian but he does not spare any time before bolting out of the main area and into a hallway on the western side of the building as ian took his own path to the top.

part of him hopes to find dahlia goode , another is worried that finding her means she is vulnerable. the building around him is unfamiliar as it is, the crumbling of brick and mortar only further exasperating his lack of experience here. league members are scattered throughout the halls, scrambling to reinforce any areas of destruction in order to weed out the rocket members. ian's superb work near the entrance is not enough to protect the flanks of the building from breaking.

he comes upon more webs, these ones blocking a doorway into a stairwell that will surely lead him up toward the source of the ruckus. "tamara, tear it down." he's still at a jog as his altaria rushes forth, a ball forming at her beak momentarily before bursting through the web in the form of a moonblast.

the second floor proves more ravaged than the first, images of slateport painted into the gaps in the walls. sirens wail far in the distance, and zeke realizes this is not the only place of attack.

searching for the commissioner and the source of rumbling feels contradictory and futile -- he stops in the middle of the hallway, his eyes falling upon the closest person to him, @devon .

"have you seen the commissioner?" zeke chooses to protect the woman in charge rather than try to single out rockets.

orders are given and they must be followed. fernando may not be accustomed to being on the other end of someone else's demands but tonight is an exception. for @yiannis -- for the league, he'll bend over backwards to oblige the demands of the moment. during these trying times, there's no better chance to demonstrate his obligation to service. for that reason, he keeps his glalie and bronzong outside where they can aptly take care of any external threats with a well placed PROTECT. what fernando denies the enemy he abuses for himself, allowing the league members to apply numerous defensive shields to ensure the structural integrity of their home base.

another look into FUTURE SIGHT allows bronzong to spy an impending misfortune inside. the faint purple hue that glimmers across its cold steel tells of an endeavor in trying to interfere. only time will tell if this avenue proves successful.

on the other hand, what goes up must come down. mimikyu can only stay afloat for so long. fernando has enough trust in his pokemon to allow it to pursue enemies alone. worst case scenario, it dies. there are plenty more to take its place. the silph repository is endless, which makes the pokemon eager to prove its worth.

mimikyu hunts down @names by following her steps from a distance, passive. the prelude to Queen 's apprehensions pays off in spades. the chance encounter with Leon Vercetti , the league's premiere marksman has taught fernando to train another squadron of troops. they need to be patient, stoic. watching the man's decidueye stay for hours on end, just for the perfect shot, is a lesson that fernando will not soon forget. his kecleon and ditto are no stranger to this procedure, biding their time in the background until its time to spring, but the transfer of knowledge is tedious process. it comes as no surprise that countless hours are paying off as the mimikyu fades into nothingness, bound by the volatile shadows of each character. from gurdurr to @names herself, mimikyu keeps pace, unnoticed in its SHADOW SNEAK.

only after she isolates herself from her other pokemon does mimikyu decide to act.

the porygon-z poses a threat. watching the youngster aim it with her arm, mimikyu persists, looking for the opportune moment.

a finger dares stray to her ear and that's the time to strike. from underneath, from behind, the mimikyu springs out, a sharp, sudden shadow springing out from underneath its covers. the hand is a whip, lashing out, thirsty for bruises and blood. it looks to maim, to kill, to PLAY ROUGH with the child who had no business being neck deep in this mess.

mimikyu is a ghost, a loner, friendless. it seeks to cure the pain of being an outcast by making friends. who better than to keep it company than the ghost of another? there's no malice in this attempt to snap @names 's neck. mimikyu just wants a friend. unfortunately, it chose you.

There were several things that Gardevoir could identify that were happening, in the midst of all the chaos, but there were only two factors that interested Teddy: First, to ensure that Dahlia Goode managed to escape properly, the rest were, bluntly put, rather expendable. He did not have to worry about Council Members as he could not see a Grunt taking down one. And secondly, to wipe out any trace of Rocket from the remainder of the headquarters. They were already making headways into the second objective, the first one however, remained important. [break][break]

Up until now, the first floor was the only issue. Of course, that was only until the building had been breached by two opposing forces from above and from the side. The entry of a foreign hostille force changed the priorities of Teddy's objectives, right now the Rockets understood full well that they could not defeat them in a head-to-head contest of strength, so they were going for the objective by whatever means possible. [break][break]

But that wasn't going to happen, unfortunately for them, Teddy had no intention of making this easy for any of them. His Gardevoir, previously having established the location of the former Rocket Grunts, now sought a new target, having just identified the breach. As he had been tracking @names 's actions, the Gardevoir could identify its GURDURR's attempted strike, breaching into the room at which dahlia goode resided with its Hammer Arm. As a result, Gardevoir was also able to identify and track Dahlia's positioning. Upon notifying Teddy, Teddy formulated his plan to his Gardevoir immediately. Using TELEPORT to immediately move to Dahlia's location, the Gardveoir would touch Dahlia, making contact with her, before TELEPORTING back to the entrance, where the majority of all League memberes were. [break][break]

Arguably, one could say that it would have been safer for Dahlia to have been moved outside the headquarters. But then it wouldn't have been good bait for the Rockets to come down to the bottom floor and actually fight like they were intended to.[break][break]

TL:DR;

Gardevoir detects Gurdurr's HAMMER ARM from tracking T-Pose earlier. Thus is able to find Dahlia with its sensory abilities.

tiamat spoke into her headset in reply to @devdas , a cold sweat falling down her chin. she was having a heart attack, just waiting for something to happen. "walls are walls, and ya girl needed openings. yeah, third floor." she almost spoke again, before--[break][break]
there was a flash of bright yellow cloth and tiamat didn't have the physical capacity to raise her arm and react in time. however, her firearm was alive, her firearm had a mind, her firearm was a pokemon -- the porygon-z crawled about on her arm as she jumped backwards, and fired off a zap cannon right in the mimikyu's face -- if the thunderous electricity crashing through several walls didn't hit the mimikyu, then tiamat at least got away, the recoil throwing her through an entire glass wall.[break][break]

the elevator dinging, the sandstorm erupting, and the creaking of the elevator were only some of the many, many ways the gigalith telegraphed it's entrance. just as it begun it's stone edge, the well-trained beedrill already had it's horned thorax in the roof, having busted through the low-cost roofing with a well-timed twineedle, out of gigalith's sight. the tip of the attack did graze beedrill, but it didn't do as much damage as it possibly could.[break][break]

the incoming sandstorm also alerted gurdurr, but chad stood his ground like the man(?) he was, inhaling sharply and bulking up in preparation for oncoming attacks. feeling the heavy weight of dragon rush on his back, the gurdurr yet out a roar of pain before trying to grab for the tail and using superpower to slam whatever was there into the stairs in front of him. even if he didn't hit, those stairs were likely ruined, or even sent crumbling apart from the powerful fighting-type attack.

Emma can see flashes of blue and red in the distance, racing in every direction. Smoke rises from Slateport's city lights, a contrast against the blackness of night. Overhead, the moon bears witness to their chaotic battle.

Her Talonflame, with it's fiery flame charge, is reminiscent of a flare. It charges at the Sigilyph, and she sees the trainer crash into the third floor. If Dahlia is not on ground level, it's likely that she'll be there. The commissioner is surely able to defend herself, but for how long?

She hears frantic footsteps behind her. zeke rainey 's resolve to find the commissioner only strengthens hers; the fall of Dahlia would send them tumbling closer to Kanto's fate.

"Third floor." She says, likely where the other officials are as well. She turns and runs down the hall, hoping that he'll follow. Further down, she can see that someone's teleported to them. However, the presence of @devdas is temporary when he teleports away once more; just another coward among thieves.

Racing against time, Emma finds that her entry to the third floor is met chaos. Fortunately, her Talonflame has followed @names from its previous attack. The rocket has teleported to the third floor, leaving his Gardevior likely vulnerable to a STEEL WIND. Talonflame's speed is heightened by both the tailwind and flame charge, leaving little defenses for such a fast attack. RAZOR WINDS remain from the recoil, sharp blades of air building nearby.

Despite having the Gurdurr trapped in a sand tomb, Emma barely manages to escape it's superpower with the help of tailwind. A THUNDERWAVE from her Electivire should slow it down a fair bit, and when she sends out her Drifblim, the rocket's Porygon-Z should find it difficult to fend off PAYBACK as well, it being occupied by FERNANDO SILPH 's Mimikyu

In wake of such chaos, Dahlia remains unseen.

SUMMARY

@names - porygon-z is recharging from its hyper beam. her gurdurr blocks the broken stairs— and her beedrill blocks off an emergency exit with STRING SHOT. she searches for officials.
marie jules attempts to search for the commissioner, hiding away. she makes a LIGHT SCREEN staircase to get to the second floor.
@devdas TELEPORTS to the second floor with his gardevoir, and then TELEPORTS AGAIN to the third floor in time to escape league personnel.
@yiannis orders FERNANDO SILPH to protect the building's structure. his ariados SWORDS DANCES and scurries toward dahlia;s location— on the way, the ariados attempts to POISON JAB marie jules's sylveon.
on the third floor, a special-defense boosted @yiannis' gigalith uses SANDSTORM to reduce visibility; the councilman is prepared with his stylish go-goggles. he attempts to STONE EDGE @names's beedrill. afterward, ian attempts to search for dahlia goode on his sand veiled garchomp who uses SAND TOMB on @names's gurdurr, followed by DRAGON RUSH.
@names's porygon-z's ZAP CANNON attempts to strike mimikyu; regardless, the recoil sends tiamat away into safety. her beedril twineedles the roof, and attempts to escape through the ceiling's hole and away from @yiannis's gigalith. gurdurr stomachs garchomp's hits with BULK UP and uses SUPERPOWER, attempting to strike the muscular pokemon back.
zeke rainey talks to @yiannis before advancing toward the second floor by navigating the crumbling staircase. he sees the webs spun by @names' beedrill and tears them down with altaria's MOONBLAST. he asks @devon whether she has seen dahlia goode or not.
FERNANDO SILPH's bronzong and glalie use PROTECT outside to fortify the building. bronzong FUTURE SIGHTS...
his mimikyu hunts down @names, SHADOW SNEAKING from gurdurr's shadow to @names's, while the porygon-z acts as a sentry. after, mimikyu attempts to PLAY ROUGH on @names herself, attempting to break her neck.
@thermopylae's gardevoir detects gurdurr's HAMMER ARM from earlier, and is tracking dahlia goode from that location. the gardevoir TELEPORTS to dahlia goode and TELEPORTS with her back to the ground floor.
@devon's talonflame uses STEEL WING on @devdas's gardevoir. electivire uses THUNDER WAVE against @names's gurdurr and drifblim uses PAYBACK against @names's porygon-z. emma defends third floor.

@names: you find several officials hiding out in a glass office with potted plant. it’s north of you. they gasp and close the blinds before you have to retaliate against attacks.
FERNANDO SILPH: your glalie and bronzong are about to get swarmed by ten rocket members! what do you do, hotshot?

the league have now secured their leader as they heroically defend the first floor, keeping rocket forces at bay with clever teamwork. TELEPORT seems to be a big factor in this battle: teddy may have been successful in retrieving dahlia but he's not the only one with a psychic-pokemon.[break][break]

a feisty rocket member with nothing to lose TELEPORTS into the thick of the league forces on the first floor along with his CLAYDOL; its many eyes start to glow and blink, and for those who were in the ruins with regirock, this sight will be a familiar one as it looks to SELF-DESTRUCT. this is what rocket will do for the cause: live, breathe, and die.[break][break]

dahlia dashes forth through the sonic battlefield of upheaval. each sound is floating shrapnel that she brushes away with a careful whisks of her hand. she dares not look back. the sight of a child (@names), enslaved stiff, like a scarecrow hoisted upon a stalk, by an ideology that is so beyond the horizon of her understanding—terrifies her.

what have you done, silas?

but perhaps, he's not to blame. perhaps, he's simply another victim.

her rush is halted by the sudden appearance of a gardevoir; friend or foe, she has no idea. the swiftness in which she is taken fails the mental resolution.

"who!? where?!" dahlia's first step on the messy floor are stutters, one hand bracing against @thermopylae's shoulder. a cut breath. she looks in horror at the claydol before screaming: "no!"

casting her reuniclus out, and gelatinous paws forge a REFLECT. dahlia stares at the carnage, the experience all of a sudden, more real.

tl;dr - is teleported to the ground floor / calls reuniclus out to use REFLECT

"Ah, fuck."

With his claydol having to recharge from the hyper beam it made, it was nothing more but a mere clay doll at the time. Lucas looked up, watching as a barrage of multiple attacks approach his Salamence, namely; FERNANDO SILPH 's ICE SHARD and @devon 's THUNDER AND THUNDER WAVE. But the salamence knew better.

The salamence shook the claydol off of its back, allowing the claydol to freefall down the ground. Sacrifices were inevitable. The top of salamence's head began to glow, energy from its pure willpower gathered on its head. With the salamence being way up in the air due to its ability to FLY, salamence dove down at such high speeds, headfirst with its ZEN HEADBUTT aiming for the headquarters.

The ICE SHARDS shatter as it hit the salamence's head, the THUNDER and THUNDER WAVE would hit the salamence on its way down, however, it didn't stop its descent. It was severly damaged and PARALYZED with all the electricity, however, it kept falling steadily still at such high speeds.

The salamence, with its ZEN HEADBUTT from the air, approached the already damaged top of the headquarters for a collision.

Noodles, the salamence, fell much like a meteor. If Noodles had to die for their cause, then so be it.

tl;dr

[/i][li]salamence shook claydol off, causing the claydol to fall[/li][li]has his salamance execute the dive down attack from FLY with a ZEN HEADBUTT coming straight down to the top of the headquarters. A salamence meteor coming down on the HQ's already damaged roof.[/li][li]salamence shattered the ICE SHARDS on his way down though was hit with THUNDER and THUNDER WAVE paralyzing it though not preventing its fall.[/li]

scrambling from the broken glass onto her feet, her porygon-z following suit after being knocked off her arm by the payback, the fourteen-year old gasped for the air that was knocked out of her, just as she turned to face--[break][break]
a window. a glass wall. blinds, holding several league officials. the blinds closing; but not before a flash of familiar light shone from within her sight, the familiar silhouette of the commissioner herself suddenly disappearing. catching her breath, tiamat dipped into a nearby office, leaning against the glass wall as she shakily spoke into her earpiece, her eyes wavering to every oncoming threat.[break][break]
"several officials on northmost office, third floor; commissioner TPed out, she's probably within the area-- ugh, i can't stay here long. FML i'm gonna try to get the payload. flaring for extraction!"[break][break]
letting go of her earpiece, tiamat raised her porygon-z to the definitely ruined roof, finding whatever hole was available before sending out a tri-attack into the sky, the triple-pronged attack exploding in the midnight sky beautifully, serving as a flare in this situation.[break][break]
tiamat then made a mad dash for the officials, whistling at nothing and making desiigner-esque BRAH BRAH GIT GIT GIT noises. soon enough, the beedrill descended once more, and a flurry of pin missiles completely shattered the glass wall between herself and the officials, reducing the blinds to swiss cheese as the scared, recoiling officials were revealed, holding their arms up in defense.[break][break]
she didn't waste any time. not this round. the blonde girl made a cut motion across her neck as she slowed to a stop, and beedrill begun to string shot the officials into bondage, wrapping up their mouth and limbs rapidly. a few officials tried to escape the room, but tiamat lifted her porygon-z at them, the software pokemon screeching and staring them down with terrible yellow eyes, making a show of intimidation.[break][break]
with the speed of string shot, tiamat sloppily tied up about a dozen league officials in record time, a hyper beam to their heads. this was now a hostage situation.[break][break]
gurdurr's guts activated, boosting it's attack, but-- it was far too paralyzed to act upon it.

Garchomp is pissed, and lashes out with Dragon Rush before disappearing back into the sand.

Ian is tired. Is nobody coordinating the response on their side? He's the goddamn councilman, and he has no clue where Dahlia just went.

This is the league built by Dahlia Goode. Ineffectual, bloated, and unworthy of his kingdom.

"Yeah, that's gonna be a no." It's not a hostage situation if the hostages are dead. "Atlas, create a barrier with Stone Edge!" A wall of rock emerges from the ground and shields the officials from hyper beam fire.

Gigalith shoots a single rock to smack down the Beedrill. An insect needs to know its place.

"Stop scurrying, you little rat!" Garchomp is still circling the floor. She angles her fins and glides towards the girl, tearing through untold amounts of office furniture and papers to do so. She creates a Sand Tomb for the Porygon girl.

Ian muscles through the sandstorm and finds his way to the building's PA system. "Whichever one of you fuckers removed Dahlia from my line of sight, make sure nothing happens to her or I'll axe your goddamn pension." Ah, diplomacy. dahlia goode should be proud.

The young womans eyes would squint tempted to make a meal out of the spider that aimed its sights on her sylveon, but right now, time was of the essence, she had none to spare.

So quickly before it got a chance to properly close the gap, she would release a xatu with only the slightest motion, the bird quickly teleporting the three of them away.

When everything was clear she would look around at her surroundings only to see that she stood where she once cowered, the ground floor. hey look, theres her spaghetti, still spilled on the floor.

And woah, the commissioner is right there too? How lucky could she get. Luckier if there weren’t like 8 people protecting her. She’d have to lay low for the time being, keeping her distance from the fighting and focusing on a plan to successfully get out of this without having to get her hands dirty in the process.
