The first one up to the plate was a cute little thing and June knew just who to pair up against it. With an enthusiast toss of a Pokéball, June’s Scorbunny was freed of the capsule. The Gothorita up until this point looked quite disinterested in whatever the human was doing until June sent Jet out, the bunny now having the psychic type’s full attention.

”Start off with a Quick-Attack!” Jet nodded when he heard this order, rushing at a blistering speed toward the Gothorita. The Scorbunny charged through the Gothorita, knocking it to the wayside and then skidding to a halt.

”Follow up with a flame charge!” Almost as soon as the Scorbunny stopped it started dashing forward again but this time the bunny’s body erupted in a fiery cloak that shrouded his body. The Gothorita at this point had picked itself off the ground and began to retaliate, its eyes shining a bright light blue hue as it activated its psychic powers.

With this, the Gothorita lifted the Scorbunny off of his feet causing the flames surrounding him to dissipate. ”Don’t panic! Aim an ember attack at it!” June words stopped Jet from freaking out much, the bunny nodding at her command before firing off a stream of embers at the Gothorita.

Once the smoke cleared from the attack and Jet was freed of the enemy Pokémon’s psychic control they could see that the Gothorita was down for the count.

”That was great, Jet! Let’s keep this momentum up!”

The duo were raring to go so when they heard footsteps coming their way they both were ready to leap into action.

”Alright Jet let’s get the jump on this one! Hit em with a Double-Edg-“ She stopped, there was no one there. At least that’s what she thought at first until she looked down and spotted a little Mudkip passing on by. Jet was still ready to fight, waiting for June’s order.

”Er, let’s let this one go huh? Doesn’t look like it’s in much of a mood to fight.”

She had come here for battling training but ended up getting a whole lot of typical exercise as well. The falls offered a lot of opportunities to get a good workout in. Climbing cliff sides, swimming it had a decent amount going for it, and June took advantage of it.

But eventually, she and her Scorbunny came to a stop and were taking a break, sitting at the water’s edge. A rather feisty Deino suddenly appeared, trying to pick a fight with a duo.

Both were tired and neither one of them wanted to deal with the little lizard so June came up with an idea.

Lazily the young woman released her Duraludon and one look at the steel dragon made the Deino go running.

”Yeah that’s what I thought.” She laughed.
