HORN TRUMPETS BLARE TO ANNOUNCE the start of the HOENN STAR TOURNAMENT. this celebration cycles with the pokeathalon every four years.
slateport has been remodeled to accommodate visitors from the other regions with local specialties and plenty of festivities. here, intense battles of various kinds are waged to demonstrate hoenn's prowess in battling!
after the ultra beast war, hoenn begins to heal. the megalopolan invasion may have failed; however, it is clear there is much more at stake. a prophecy revolving around a cyclical meteoroid, the appearance of necrozma and a dangerous and viral alien threaten the safety of the region once more.
with rocket's new boss, the resurgence and reappearance of the crime syndicate's presence is imminent. the league has done its best to repair its reputation, and with the victory of a war under their belt, perhaps it is enough. but the seeds of distrust have already been sown in the ravaged land of this region, causing many to wonder what will grow?
kyle watches as his beheeyem enters a state of zen. in its process of setting up a calm mind for the upcoming battles of wild pokemon, it lets its trainer know that it's ready for a fight once it opens its eyes and gets up.
"finally!" kyle exclaims.
from the top of a tree, kyle hangs on on the few sturdy branches that he can find from his position while his beheeyem looks over the group of wild pokemon trying to go for them.
the quilava attempts to climb up the tree, but unlike the other two, it wasn't as proficient in climbing.
the beheeyem hits it with a simple beam, and then a hidden power, before following it up with a blast of psychic.
the combination of three attacks all connect to the quilava by the end of the tree. kyle wasn't sure how to gauge the first two attacks since the last one would have sealed the deal anyways, but he respects the effort.
"thanks! we're getting out here now."
kyle jumps down the tree from the height he was in and falls flat on the ground when he figured he cannot do the cool landing that most anime characters do.
