Ruby didn't exactly know why this was even a challenge to begin with, but she was hardly going to question it. A way to potentially earn some Poke? Never a bad idea. Or, well, some 'prize' that she assumed was Poke. What else would they even give? A small figurine? A model of a car they just destroyed? Whatever the case was, it was a good time for Whisper to get some of her anger out in a healthy manner.

Standing amongst the junkyard with another participant, apparently they both simply just had to destroy the car with everything they had. She didn't immediately recognize her ally in this endeavor, but she couldn't be expected to know the names of everyone she ever came across in the region. Despite that, she gave a simple smile and a polite wave as Whisper was released from her Pokeball.

"Go for it!" Ruby called out and that was simply all she had to say. As soon as the Acid Spray from the Ekans hit the car, Whisper followed through with her own strike. Suddenly unleashing a powerful Psychic blow, intent to simply crush the car down even further onto itself.

As soon as her partner sent out a Feraligator, Ruby couldn't help but simply smile. The car in front of them was already getting wrecked pretty hard. The jaws of the crocodile-like Pokemon ripping straight through the metal. She had to admit, the physical prowess was quite inspiring.

Whisper, of course, was intent not to be outdone by the new arrival. Standing back to make sure not to hit the Feraligator, she swung her tentacle-like arm as she used the move Psycho-Cut. Psychic blades of energy fired straight towards the car, tearing straight into the metal and hopefully shredding it entirely.

This was almost too easy! The poor car was already crumbling under the combined might of the Pokemon. Ruby was genuinely having a bit of a hard time understanding how this was meant to be a challenge. However, if they were going to go all out on destroying this car until there was nothing left, why not toss everything they could at it?

With a grip to her necklace, the mega-accessory inside sprung to life as Whisper began to mega evolve. Her form quickly changing and growing as she seemed to almost silently chuckle. Her new three tentacles swaying behind her as she stared straight at the car. Suddenly striking, star-like energy suddenly began to rain down straight at the car as she used the move Smite, the fairy type attack ripping apart the car.

There was practically nothing left of the car already. But if there was anything worth doing, it was worth overdoing. Or at least, for this competition anyways. Ruby simply laughed as she stepped back, watching the Pokemon take their turns at tearing the metal to scraps.

The incredibly loud sound attack, however, had Ruby suddenly worried. Whisper wasn't one for loud noises, even from innocents. It took a few moments of Ruby gently patting Whisper's side, but other than intense, deadly stares, she kept her calm with a quick usage of Calm Mind. Closing her eyes, Whisper even took a deep breath to distract herself from the annoyances.

Almost as if in reaction to the loud noise, and her own way of retaliation, Whisper suddenly had a wide, almost sadistic grin spread across her face. All sound slowly began to fade out of the entire area, resulting in total, unearthly silence as she teleported in.Witching Hour has begun.

With a silent, almost maniacal-like laugh, Whisper teleported straight inwards and swung her tentacles straight at the car. Her claws ripping through the metal with psychically enhanced strength, as sound suddenly crashed back in. Even Ruby was disoriented by the experience, but she kept her cool. However, she couldn't help but look over with a bit of a worry, hoping her ally in this contest wasn't too stressed over the strike.

There was nothing left. Rubble, practically. Just scraps that were now being melted apart by one more spray of acid towards them. Whisper had simply used her psychic abilities to slowly pull them all into one pile, making sure the acid could affect as much of it as possible.

With that done, there was still enough time for one final thing. Swirling her tentacles, a Mystical Fire began to launch straight at the scraps and melt them down. The metal scraps were just a hunk of metal at this point, completely useless and entirely unrecognizable as a car. Just melted, burned, ripped apart hunks of metal.

As Whisper eventually faded back from her Mega-Evolved form, Ruby simply reached up and bumped her fist against Whisper's tentacle-hand. "Well, that wasn't that bad at all."

With another wave to Kaida, Ruby spoke with a soft tone. "Well, I think that takes care of that! Shall we go get that reward then? Did they tell you what it was? Because... I probably glanced over that part."
