Samuel came to the Fiery Path due to hearing rumors about their being strong Pokémon there.

And being in the market for adding new and powerful Pokémon to his team he decided to check it out and see if there was anything there that would be worth his time.

This first Pokémon that Samuel came across was nothing special, just a normal Slugma.

Well he supposed if there was anything he could say about the Pokémon was its pure tenacity, it looked like it was ready to jump at him the moment they crossed paths.

Luckily there was no conflict that broke out between man and Pokémon this time.

While this Pokémon had a lot of potential, especially when it came to its pure utility, Samuel did not want to add this one to his collection.

He was looking for something a bit more firepower behind it, bulk.

And besides, he had enough Pokémon that could play the role of this one so he wasn’t missing out.

Now this Pokémon was something more of Samuel’s liking, another strong and sturdy fire type would be useful. He then released his Swampert, the Pokémon would be ideal in this situation.

And it wasn’t much of a fight. While the Magmar had strength and that strength wasn’t disciplined and the wild Pokémon fought with no skill, only instinct.

Swampert made quick work of the Pokémon and Samuel went to throw an empty pokeball at the downed fire type.
