When she mentions a reward he chuckles and shakes his head - and she's more than happy to let him go without anything, if that's what he would prefer. Instead, he surprises her with a different request. One that causes her to turn back and watch him.[break][break]

"how do you even live in a place like this?" he finishes another sip and lowers the glass to look at her. "it's so hot that i'm surprised more people aren't shirtless."

Stormy sips at her mojito, glancing around while Lance people watches and comments on the heat. She laughs, but despite the layer of glow on her skin thanks to the heat - she doesn't seem the least bit bothered by it.[break][break]

She intentionally brushes her leg against his, encouraging a connection. Sweat from her glass drips down the side, dampening her fingers as she takes another sip.

there is conviction and assurance in his steps as he leads them through a town he is unfamiliar with. he has no issues finding his destination, however, which may be surprising to some. he leads them through the entrance and takes her hand in his as they approach the counter of the hot springs.

Stormy laughs, following him through the town as they make their way to the hot springs. The path is familiar to her and she's surprised he finds his way so easily. [break][break]

When he gathers her hand in his she allows it, catching her breath as a tingle spreads up her arm.[break][break]

They're lead away to a couples suite on the far side of the springs. It's fancy, beautiful, with complimentary wines and perfectly folded towels. It smells just as good as it looks, even.[break][break]

When they're eventually left to their own devices, Stormy turns to look at Lance.

[attr="class","lancepost"]lance is already pouring wine into two glasses by the time she turns to look at him. he keeps her in his peripherals and feels her eyes on him, though it does little to unnerve him. if anything, it calms him.

his shirt sticks to him but he finds no issues taking it off. he tosses it somewhere, discarding it for now. he takes both glasses in his hands and turns to her.
