[attr="class","lancepost"]apparently the more isolated a location is, the more beautiful it tends to be. lance has found this to be true at least on route 128, where he spends the afternoon sun tanning. his rattata has the same idea as he lays down with his belly up towards the sky. rotta's little short legs point straight up as well, quite adorably. if only he wasn't such a cheeky little shit all the time.

[attr="class","lancepost"]he hears something scittering towards them at an alarming rate. he peers his eyes open and barely has time to react before a galvantula leaps onto him. he struggles underneath its weight but remains still, curious as to why it jumped on him in the first place.

"uh, hello."

it doesn't move. it stays perfectly still which forces lance to move just enough for him to notice how its many eyes are closed. it's...sleeping. how strange. sneaking a hand to find an empty pokeball, lance taps it against the electric-type.
