Luckily, the Poochyena ceased from moving farther from Kyle. The sudden brakes was all too confusing for the trainer regardless, but he decided not to dwell too much in it until he saw what had caused the Dark-type to halt. Curious eyes tried to peek over the Poochyena, which wasn't too difficult of a task considering their height differences, only to see a certain Electric-type interacting with the pup.

The closer he studied the two, however, the more that it seemed like the two were not interested with each other's presence. A stare down was initiated by their meeting, eyes meeting the other's while their bodies grew stiff, waiting for the other to make a move before they do theirs.

"Bravo, what are you doing?"

The voice startled not only the Poochyena, whose fur bristled from the sudden appearance of his trainer's voice in his ears, but also the Pikachu. Its ears quickly perked up at Kyle's presence, it's head peering over the canine to see a better view of the trainer, before it turned around and scurried away. They were a popular species, from what he could tell from the Pikachu merchandise he'd always see, but his interests lay somewhere else.

"Come on. Shouldn't you be looking for something else?"

The Poochyena tried to chase after the Pikachu, but a glare from his trainer was enough to deter him from going after it deep into the forests. The Dark-type went on a tangent afterwards, perhaps following a random scent trail left by a wild Pokemon nearby. A shrug was all Kyle could get as a response upon reaching the canine's target.

"Close enough."

The Poochyena dragged Kyle to where a sleeping giant was. The beast did not seem to notice their presence, having been deep into slumber since they saw it. The trainer had no intention on disturbing its rest though, given that it would be a bother to get into trouble for something that could easily be avoided. Besides, should it appear to be aggressive once woken up, Kyle did not have the means to defend himself from it. Like hell he'd put his Poochyena against them.

They were looking for a Grass-type. The Tropius, while a Grass-type, did not seem to fit the description of what he was trying to look for. "Let's try for another," he'd calmly instruct, voice soft enough as to not distract the Tropius.

"This isn't doing us any good, Bravo."

They have moved away from the Tropius, only to find themselves faced with another large Grass-type. It wasn't their target, but he wouldn't question why the Poochyena decided to track its scent more than the other Pokemon in the area. The big flower thing did do its best not to smell revolting after all. It was just unfortunate that, unlike the Tropius, the Meganium was well and awake.

"We should run," he'd calmly instruct the Dark-type, before the wild Pokemon released a sea of petals onto their way.

The Poochyena saw the attack as a sign of aggression, which Kyle supposed it was given that it was the only logical conclusion, and immediately barked back. He stood his ground, somehow unafraid of getting hit with the attack, before Kyle yanked his tail towards him. Pulling the canine closer to him, he'd immediately scoop the pup up by his torso with his arms, running away from the angry dino soon after.
