he protests, laughing. he tries to push noah away, but he's weakened by multiple factors. weak, playful nudges do nothing to protect him from the assault, but he doesn't seem to mind being the victim.

"like, go take a cold shower or something. you need it"

his efforts to keep noah away reward noah with what he wants. though kyle still tries to suppress it as much as he can, there's only so much he can do under pressure.

noah's hands fall dormant. instead, they slide around kyle's back. he relishes the feeling of the couch behind him, like the cold side of a pillow. sighing, noah sets his chin on the other's chest.

he watches him in silence. finally, he speaks and slides away, falling off the couch before rolling to his feet.

"yeah, you're right." noah says. their brief respite inspires a yawn from his throat. "aight. stay put, dude. or else it'll defeat the purpose."

he slingshots his last article of clothing toward the couch. the stairs thud with each step as noah leaves for the second floor bathroom.
