 Augustin takes advantage of his work-related trips to get to know the region. He's only been here for a few months as an assistant to the johtonian embassador and although he's read books and has talked to people, he indulges in walks away from the busy cities once in a while. Grim is sniffing yet another bush, exploring every inch of the surrounding landscape with much more enthusiasm than his trainer. The young man gives the Houndoom a small pat on the head as he approaches the lakeside, expression vacant. He sees a few people -- mostly families and lone trainers -- refreshing themselves on the other side of the lake, but this side is thankfully empty. "Grim," he calls out. The Houndoom is by his side in an instant, tongue lolling out and a few blades of grass stuck in his fur. It was a few hours before he had to go back to work. He sits on the grass and stretches his legs, taking a book from his satchel and diving into it.  notes: ... tag:... |
