For summer, it was a cooler day. A cloudy sky created an inadequate amount of light filtering in from the treetops. This made it appear like dusk was drawing near when in actuality it was midday. In the small shady woods, Keres dragged his feet along the cut path of the trail. Djinn, his Mimikyu, followed along after him and seemed to move in a similar manner to its trainer. Keres left the ghoul out of its pokeball most of the time. While it may have bothered others, it bothered him none. When they'd first met each other a pokeball hadn't been necessary for their friendship. The raven-haired boy was hardly engaged with his environment. Keres hadn't visited the rural regions of Hoenn much but his tired eyes suggested the land wasn't anything that impressed him. The woods had been sleepy since the shade of the trees had engulfed him and it was in turn making him sleepier too.

befriend injured Plusle attempt? 

"Mimi.!" Djinn broke the silence in the sleepy woods. The Mimikyu seemed to be trying to get its trainer's attention then the rag covered ghoul glided over to a patch of leaves under a tree next to the path. The cry and action from his pokemon turned Keres's head and the boy became curious about the spot Djinn seemed to be indicating. The boy walked over to stand next to Djinn. He looked his partner over and suddenly the ghost glinted its eyes at him. With a swipe from its suit's wooden tail, the Mimikyu uncovered the large green leaves.

A tiny cream body was revealed. Keres instinctively began to frown deeply. His friend Djinn could be a morbid creature. "Pli!.." A quiet yet sharp cry came delayed from the uncovered body and Keres was surprised. The pokemon was alive. Now that he considered it - the leaves that had been covering seemed purposely placed by their bright green color. The Plusle was injured on closer inspection. The mouse wore a frown on its face and it didn't move to flee away from Keres or Djinn. The poor electric type, with effort, picked itself up by crouching on three paws. Its right back leg was injured and thus it was incapable of its usual bipedal movement. Keres stared with his lips parted in surprise and was too dumbstruck to act. He didn't know what to do.

The Plusle acted. It tried to protect itself and after squinting one eye it began to emit sparks. Keres stepped back from the injured mouse to avoid the electrified air and Djinn followed suit by floating backwards. "Huh? Wait. wait." Keres began, having been brought out of his stupor. "We'll help you." Djinn shook his body in what must have been agreement. The Plusle was clearly still tense but the sparks stopped. It was enough for Keres to reach and pick up the rodent. He clutched it close to his chest. He had no idea what to do with a hurt pokemon... He'd have to find a center or somewhere.
